I bought this camera to use for my blog. It was very easy to use considering I am a novice when it comes to photography. I got the red just for fun and absolutely love it. Even on the auto setting it provides gorgeous photos.

if you have NEVER used a camera, this is great! however, if you know at least a little bit about cameras, or at least technology, upgrade to the next model up, you will not regret it! this is a good camera, but still lacks some of what i want to do, and ive only had this for about 3 months.

Nikon 3200 is perfect for someone purchasing first camera, my family really enjoys the ease of using this camera. Picture quality is great.

Advertised as a beginner camera. I don't think so. This camera is more for a advanced photographer. This camera has so many features that it takes some time to learn them and be able to utilize them in photography. I've had several Nikon cameras and have used Canon as well, Nikon is my perferred camera just because of their quality and reputation. The camera also has video with sound built in it but I have't used it yet. The camera also has a "bulb' setting whick many of todays camera don't have. I like that feature to be able to shoot time lapsed shots.The D3200 has so many advanced features that there is not enough space to cover them all. While a beginner may be able to use this camera I don't believe its a beginning camera due to all its features and capabilities. It has quiet focus and very quick to lock the focus points.

I bought this as a beginner camera and found it very easy to use. There are also many more features to lead into more advanced photo taking.

I would buy it again, I love it , easy to use, light, great pics.

This camera takes great pics and englargements are clear. Video is an added bonus. Battery life seems to be great. Changing lens is easy.

I'm loving this camera. I'm a beginner, but with it's easy functions, I'm learning fast. You almost can't take bad pictures! 2 Thumbs up!

I just wanted a great camera to take picture of the kids during their sporting events. I have played around with the camera and loved the ease of use. Still working on figuring out the night time shots. I would probably give the features a higher rating but have not really worked out the difference between user error and actual features. I could not figure out the video mode without reading the directions. Once I did it was easy to switch over. I have not taken any video with it yet.

Daughter really enjoys the Wi-Fi function and quality of pics. The ease of function and the ability to change lenses is also a plus.

I love this camera. I did a lot research before buying it and it lives up to everything I read about it. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that just wants to point and shoot. While its capable of that you can get the same quality of picture from a much cheaper camera. This is a great camera for someone that wants to control the settings and play around with different effects like running water. Make sure you read the instructions some features were hard to find.

This is a great camera for a novice wanting high quality picutres. It has a lot of options & can accept different lenses as you learn more about photography. I would highly recommend it. It doesn't zoom in as much as I need for close-up pics of items further away - such as 3rd base of a baseball field when I'm along Home base & 1st base.

Awesome camera!!! I love all the features and the pic quality. My wife found the auto functions easy to use and produces great pics

This was our first DSLR and it has most all the features that a novice needs to get started as well as a great guide feature and lens. For the price, you can't beat it.

Took it to fireworks on the 4th and most recently to the beach: good quality, lots of options, easy to adjust for all situations.
