The camera is all that I expected. The service at the store was very good.

Though it might be the entry model for Nikon for full-frame range. But my experience with the camera is simply great. You pretty much have all features as more expensive full frame models. You have a bright large view finder, excellent image quality. Well 51 point AF points not there but I personally don't need that other than sports photography. Even 39 point AF is enough for that. You have a great battery life but generally for long trips you may want to have another one. I have not tried video capability of this camera yet, since I use separate camera for the same. If you want to add something in the package is probably a memory card, couple of filters, definitely a prime lens. I would suggest 1.8 50MM prime will do great job for you. That's probably all you need. Overall, this is an excellent product and you do not want to be double minded to buy this, unless you have more money to spend and buy D800.

I bought this camera for a professional shoot. Wasn't disappointed. Photos are terrific, even though I've only had time to master about a third of what it can do. So many options for fine tuning! But I plan to learn them all!

This camera offers an unbelievable amount of features. Quality of pictures and bokeh is awesome. The only cons I have found so far: 1. It is quite heavy 2. The light sensor isn't in a great spot and the light from the sensor will cast a shadow on the subject because it is compromised by the lens (doesn't affect picture though)

originally used the nikon j1 and wanted a camera with a bigger zoom. definitely easy to use and does the job well. nikon never lets you down and exceeded expectations.

Hi bought this camera to replace my aging Canon 1DS ii/iii cameras and all I can say is this camera performs great in all aspects of FX photography. The accompanying lens 28-300mm is a superb lens to go with this camera and while I plan to purchase more pro lenses, this will suffice for now. Great sharp pictures and very intuitive menus. You cannot go wrong. This also came with a bag, 32GB card and a battery grip. Simply awesome!!

This camera is much different than my last camera a D80 which I still have. The pictures are very clear and I am looking forward to learning much more about this camera,

Bought this Camera and 28-300mm lens package on sale at Best Buy. Amazon had a way higher price than Best Buy for the camera package! Couldn't be happier with the high quality, body sturdiness, and overall functionality of the D610 full frame camera.
