Speakers Perform As Advertised

The store rep recommended "banana plugs" be used for installation, but the Geek Squad just hard-wired the speakers to already-installed wires connected back to our receiver. The Geek Squad also recommended a speaker selector - which I purchased separately - to provide more flexibility and control over which speakers (indoor and outdoor) were active/"on" at any given time. The system works fine. We have had no rain yet, so i can't comment on the true "water resistant" nature of the speakers. We also purchased the extended protection plan just to be safe.

Luck was on my side as the day I purchased was during a big audio sale month for Best Buy and they were 40% off - rock on.... no double pun intended - maybe !
