The blender itself is perfect, but the app that enables you to control it via bluetooth is somewhat lacking in functionality

Okay -- a smart blender? Well, that's really cool. I'm still getting used to the functionality, but it's a great way to be able to tell the nutritional value of your smoothies, cocktails, etc. The motor is way powerful, and it looks and feels solid. There's even plastic rings to cover the threads on the cup so that you're not sipping on a threaded edge when drinking. A couple of things I don't like about it so much -- the cups are huge!! It's more for like 2 people, and the containers are too deep for drinking straws. The lid thingie -- I really wish it had a breathing hole, because when I drink from the lid, my mouth forms a seal and the drink doesn't come out very well. So I have to use the mouthpiece on the lid like drinking from a tiny cup, and that's pretty messy. I understand that you can use this with existing nutribullet containers, so I'll have to try those and see if it's better for me.

I love knowing how many calories are in my smoothie without all the guessing.

As good, if not better than VitaMix at less than half the cost.
