The protector is very slim and not bulky at all. It has a very durable cover that looks good while providing the protection you want. Very happy!

I bought this when I purchased my s8+. It works decent to protect the phone but otterbox did away with the plastic screen to protect the phone screen. I'm assuming due to the phone losing touch sensitivity with it having a curved screen. It protects the phones skeleton, but I've had to replace the screen protector on my phone 3 times now, because if you drop it on the screen in any way, shape, or form, the protector will break being as there is no longer a protective plastic face on the otterbox.

This item has great protection. It has been the subject of tea spilled on it and I have dropped it from 5ft and no damage. Good product.

The case is really good I always loved otterbox!!! Protected each time you drop it by accident. always get otterbox for new phones.

This case provides great protect, I only wish for the price the screen protector was either built in or included. This item is pricey, but the phone is expensive and needs protection.

This does not work with my ottie wireless charger but this is very good protection .it may be the pad or the rubber i might cut some of the pad or the plastic case to see if it works.

I love the case. I've dropped it several times and it has protected the phone very well but the only problem is that I wish it had a screen protector on it. That's my only complain.

From first getting the phone to applying this, you'll feel so relieved that it won't feel like your brand new phone's going to fall right out of your hands anymore. I fully endorse & recommend Otterbox phone AND tablet cases. My only complaint with this series of cases they produced, is that they no longer come with those easy to apply screen protectors that they used to have. Granted, you had to clean them once in a while, but they were definitely a nice feature.

Being in the construction industry I need protection for my phone and I will only get a otter box. They have the ability to take a beating and still keep your phone looking new.

Very nice case at an even better price. Had hubbys phone 1 day with no protection and screen cracked, so highly recommend this case!

I have been buy otter box cases for years now. They have never let me down. This on would be a five star but no screen protector on the case. Have to buy a separate screen protector.

This version of the defender case for the Samsung Galaxy S8+ does not come with a plastic shield. I had removed my shields before and used glass protectors on my phones. One thing I'm not sure about with this case (and other 8+ cases) is that the since the phone is curved and has the display all the way to the edge, it looks like if the phone were dropped and landed on the front edge on something it might could get damaged. Time will tell. Other than that, it looks to be a well built case.

Otterbox cases still live up to their reputation. It is slim while still effective at protecting your phone.

Makes the phone easier to hold and adds protection. No screen cover but none is needed. The clip which doubles as a stand is great.

I trust in otter box to protect my phone at all times. I work and drop my phone at least 2 times a week. It last and protects 100%.

PURCHASE OTTERBOX CASE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER HAD MANY CELL PHONES IN THE PAST BUT THE CASES JUST DIDN'T HOLD UP UNTIL I DECIDED TO GET A NEW PHONE AND GO WITH THE OTTERBOX CASE WELL I MANAGED TO PUT IT TO THE TEST I ACCIDENTALLY DROPPED MY NEW PHONE BUT IT HAD THE CASE ON IT NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE I WAS SCARED TO PICK IT UP OFF THE FLOOR WITH THE FEAR THAT IT WOULD BE CRACKED I PICK UP THE PHONE AND TOOK THE CASE OFF AND WAS AMAZED NO SCRATCH NO CRACK NOTHING I CAN SAY OTTERBOX SAVED MY PHONE....

I purchased this for my Galaxy S8+ and it protects the phone very well. If you don't mind a big & bulky case then go with this.
