The true story of a heroic man, Hunter "Patch" Adams, determined to become a medical doctor because he enjoys helping people. He ventured where no doctor had ventured before, using humour and pathos. Great performance by a beloved actor and comedian, we miss you Robin.

Robin Williams does a marvelous job playing the unconventional medical school with the patient as first priority. Something the school teachers and staff have trouble with. The Red Nose Day comes from this movie.

This is a movie that will always be a grabber. Yes it's dated, and Robin Williams gives a terrific performance with a script that has dialogue that may be to "corny" for todays audience, but I say show them anyway; they may surprise you! I am so glad I bought this jewel.

This is a must see movie not just because of Robin Williams but because of the incredible true story. This movie stars a wonderful cast. I think all movies based on true stories are great so you will not be disappointed.
