For many years I have carried my memory cards in my pockets. I know this is not the way to store them, but it’s usually what is most convenient and I’ve never found a suitable carrying case. The problem with just slipping memory cards in your pocket — aside from them getting disorganized — is that dirt, moisture and other factors could damage them. So, I’ve been searching for a carrying case that would not only protect the cards, but also be stylish and easy to slip into my camera bag or pocket. So, I turned to Pelican for my memory card storage needs. Fortunately, they have an amazing case called the Protector Memory Card Case. The Protector case is a classic Pelican case. It’s water resistant (IPx4). The body is made out of a tough Polycarbonate resin and is a hard shell. The latch is made with a hard ABS plastic and creates a very tight seal for the inside of the case. The interior liner is made out of Elastomer foam and it absorbs shock as well as keeps the memory cards locked safely in place and organized. The Protector case can hold up to 12 SD cards, 6 Mini SD cards, and 6 Micro SD cards. The foam is actually set in a way that the Micro and Mini SD cards lay beneath the full size SD cards. Two additional features of the case include a silicon rubber O-Ring and nickel-plated brass pins that hold the hinge together. The first thing to do with this case is to actually get it out of its packaging. It ships in plastic thermoformed packaging so you have to cut through it, which is a job on its own. The packaging was actually the only thing I didn’t like about the Protector case. Once you get through the packaging, the case opens at the latch, which is a very tight fit. The case opens and lays flat on a table so that you can view all the contents easily. Since the case comes preassembled and there isn’t any additional set-up aside from place the cards into their designated spots inside the foam, there aren’t any complicated instructions that accompany the case. The Protector Memory Card Case is really ideal for me. It keeps the cards safe and secure and they are easy to access inside this case. I also really love that the Protector is only the size of a smartphone. When I hold it up to an iPhone X, it’s just slightly smaller, but it’s about 2.5 times as thick. At this size, the case can easily slip into a pocket and still keep the cards dry and free from extraneous dirt. Another thing I really like about this case is that since the cards fit into the case tightly in place so that when you open the case, you don’t have to worry about them just falling out. The Protector case is a really nice product and something I feel that any photographer should have to keep their cards safe. With a company like Pelican you can rest easy knowing your gear will always be safe.

This Pelican smart card case is just what the doctor ordered if I may say. Well made and no more worrying about my smart cards being lost or damaged. I also have several pelican gun cases. Buy this you won't regret it!

Plenty of space for SD cards, micro sd cards, and sd card adapters. Nicely sized and great for the cards for my camera.

If you travel with memory cards this case is a must! I purchased this after having soft cases that were ok but not great. I travel with dslr cameras, drones and a point and shoot. This case holds all my memory cards along with double the space for micros. I can load up my case to full capacity and never have to download until back at my studio. I always have spares as I have had friends need more memory and if I have a client who is paying for the raw data I just give them the card when done with the shoot and have plenty more cards available.

I have a couple drones that use micro-SD cards for their storage, and I like to have extra cards with me when I fly so I can swap out cards between flights. Rather than having a bunch of cards floating around in their little plastic cases, I can store up to 12 cards in this case, and yet it's small enough to fit into any gear bag. I also have a Canon DSLR that uses SD cards, and right now I'm sharing my one case for both platforms. I have no doubt I'm going to drive somewhere with either my drones or the camera, only to discover the card case is at home with whatever equipment I didn't bring along. Guess I'm going to have to buy a second case!

It is very nicely made durable case that allows different sized SD card to the stored. Makes it easy to keep up with the SD cards being on one place.

I really love this case. It’s compact and durable. It hold different size memory cards and space for many cards all in one place. It protects them all from damage and is aligned to keep them neat and orderly.

Was debating on getting this case for awhile now and regret waiting so long!!! Fits micro SD as well as normal sized SD and SDHC cards. Such a slim case yet I know my cards are protected.

I purchased (2) of these cases when I first started out in photography & still use them today. Each case fits (12) SD cards or micro SD adapters. The padding inside is a snug fit, and I’ve never lost or damaged an SD card since I purchased these. They are small hard cases, great to throw in your camera bag for any event or photoshoot. Well worth the money & investment!

Works well to secure several memory cards, although it would be nice if it had an easier way to attach a lanyard or something. Easy to open/close, and seems pretty watertight although I would still try not to dunk it.

I used to have to look in 4 different locations for my memory cards, but now they're in this sleek little holder. Would recommend for photographers who have several memory cards. I wish there was some type of way to know which ones were ready to go and which ones were full - that would be a cool feature. I just move mine around or flip them upside down to know that there are images on them.

This is a great product for storing all your memory cards and, if you're like me, this is a lifesaver. It centralizes all my memory cards so I have them all protected and safe. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the memory cards get loose in the case if you shake it around too much but overall a great case.

Excellent storage device for those tiny little memory chips. Keeps them safe and organized when not in use. My boys put the chips back in the container instead of just putting them back in the camera bag or a pocket, its saved a bunch of money.

I always had a hard time keeping track of my different sized memory cards and adapters. Pelican Memory Card Case alleviated that problem. Several storage compartments for different size cards in nice foam/rubber type material. The outer case is made of durable hard plastic. I know exactly where my cards are....with me where I need them.

I use this almost religiously now. This is perfect for filmmakers.

This case for SD cards is wonderful. I am often working on more than one photography project at any time. This allows for me to keep them all in one place. The Pelican case is also very durable and has a little a lot where u can attach a carribeaner, if necessary. Folds down flat...making it easy to store in your camera bag. Loved it so much that I even purchased one, as a gift, for a friend.

Good case! Stores both sizes of SD cards! Can be thrown inside a camera bag for spare cards or in a car/truck if you have a library of SD cards filled with various music genres.

Perfect for keeping SD's from retired devices as well as SDXC cards for camera. Fits well in my camera bag and I'm sure it will protect valuable information that is stored on the SD's.

Was looking for a case to store SD cards because I got tired of my precious memories rattling around the bottom of my desk drawers and this case is prefect remedy for it.
