    Awful selection on my part

    It’s been harder to find a good beard trimmer that works well on black hair. This purchase was not a good choice by any means. The blades aren’t very sharp, and attempting to cut my beard might as well have been accompanied by a laugh track. The motor doesn’t sound as if it’s very fast after being fully charged. Even directly against the skin the results aren’t good. I doubt this can be returned, but maybe the review can help someone avoid the product. Off hand the bag that comes with the trimmer is a cheap drawstring that requires you to empty the bag to grab what you’re looking for. Poor quality.

    Decent but not great clipper

    If you need longer battery life and better clippers opt for another pair this one appears to have a lower build quality than the other options in the same Phillips line but for the price its great.

    Works great but charging issues

    Everything worked fine expect few issues. This trimmer starts on its own during night time and I used it very rare, could be 5 times. The charger is not working and I could not use this trimmer after it as the trimmer is not getting charged anymore.

    I bought this trimmer a month ago. I used it two times and after I finished using it last night I couldn’t turn it off and it kept on buzzing and It just stopped working.

    Functional, but not great

    Had big expectations for this razor, but they were not met. I was disappointed with the bulkiness and overall quality if the razor. It functions, but just feels cheap and ineffective.

It is important that the cutting element or the trimming comb which you are using with your groomer is attached correctly to its body. If the attachments are not placed correctly, the groomer may not work, or give desired results. If you press the groomer too hard against your scalp or skin, you may accidentally change the settings to high or low or apply uneven pressure. This can result in uneven clipping.For the best trimming experience, make sure your groomer is in full contact with your skin and move it gently and steadily.

    Not enough short/stubble attachments. Wish they had smaller/shorter attachments.

    you'll be left with stuble no matter the attatchment with this. Cant even use it in the shower

    Used the clippers with a guard and it left an uneven cut that had to be corrected by another set of clippers.

    Its not great to use as beard trimmer. There are only 2 lengths of 'beard guards,' 5 mm and 7 mm (2mm stubble is not a beard). You can mix in 'hair guards' but you need to switch out the cutting blade to a different size every time you switch between a 'beard' length and a 'hair' length. Its not a huge deal but when you have to trim daily it's a bit annoying. It is cheap though, and getting a nose-hair trimmer is a nice plus, though. It's all minor quibbles, but a convenient and simple trimmer isn't exactly a high bar to meet. Why have 3 different types of guards?
