I have a samsung tv and it worked the tv as soon as i put batteries in.in. It is smart tv and used the learning function to assign keys for the internet functions. Also very easy.The dvd and cable box worked as soon as the codes were put in. I also like the light. Great for getting to know the new remote. I will buy another one when needed for my other tv.

This is a great product. It was easy to follow the instructions and set up for a TV, Cable Box, Blu-Ray Player, and Xbox 360. Easy to program several buttons from the Cable remote that did not get automatically programmed. Only down side is that the first one only lasted one year, but we liked it enough that we bought another one. The price is pretty good too.

Overall...If your looking to spend somewhere between $20-$30 on a universal remote and have nothing against RCA.Well this is the perfect household remote for you.If you have young children...and find yourself every now and then buying expensive remotes cause one of them decided to hide it or use it as a toy.Then look no further.

Nice looking universal remote for controlling up to 6 devices, including our satellite cable box. We put ALL our other remotes away because this one replaces them all. Nice shiny black finish and the remote is shaped to fit nicely in the hand. I also like the back-light feature, and the glow-in-the-dark buttons make it easy to find if the lights aren't on. The text is a little small, but the placement is very intuitive once you select the correct device. We bought it with our new TV because the universal remote that came with it, was NOT very universal. We're really happy with this one!

This works well and was relatively easy to program. The only fault we found was that our original service provider remote included a "back 10 sec" and "forward 30sec" buttons that we could not program on this new remote. Otherwise, works great.

The design is great. It fits my hand. The price is good.The button layout is great. Most remotes have the channel number buttons on the bottom half of the remote which is stupid! This one is easy to program. It's the first remote I have found that has my Pioneer VSX-921 and my Element TV codes in it. So far, I haven't found anything about this remote to dislike. I didn't have to use the "learning" function so I don't know about that. I only gave it an "average" rating on durability because I have only had it about a month.

I accidentally threw my original tv remote in the washer with my sheets and had no choice but to buy a universal remote. Idk why, but I have a thing against universal remotes. Anyways, I chose this one because I figured with it being the higher priced one out of the three I was looking at, it must have been good. I'm glad I bought it! It even works with my Apple TV! Which is perfect because the small Apple TV remote is easy to lose. So far, I'm a happy camper.

This is the best universal remote I have ever bought for this price. It is very easy to use. Good instruction manual. Programing is excellent. Does exactly what it needs to do. The only problem I have is that some of the buttons for DVD/Blu-Ray are not located where you would expect them to be. Especially the stop and pause buttons. Could be arranged a little differently to make it easier to use by feel. However, this is still a great remote for the price and works for replacement for many remotes. I have bought 3 of them.

The remote that came with my Aquos Sharp tv decided it didn't want to work anymore, and it was easier for me to buy a replacement than try to tinker with it to make it work. I had an award certificate i had to use it or lose it, perfect timing. Purchased the universal remote. Programming it was quite easy. I have not yet had time to figure out all the features. All I needed was for it to go on/off, volume up/down, and change mode from tv to dvd, etc...it works well. If I can program it, anyone can! :-)

I purchased an off brand flat screen tv and the remote didn't work. It wasn't worth returning it so I contacted the company and they gave me a refund for the broken remote. This is when I purchased this Universal Remote. Since the tv is an off brand, I wasn't sure how this would all work out (as I had tried another brand before and it wouldn't work with my tv) but happily had it connected in no time and has been up and running ever since! I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.

It wasn't the most expensive but it does everything it says on the packaging. The buttons are tiny so you have to memorize where they are located so you don't have to read them every time. Volume and channel are highly visible. It has backlighting for some of the buttons.

Good replacement remote for the price. The biggest drawback is that you still need old remote to program recording if used for VCR/DVD. No tracking capability, unless you also use for TV you can not use menu or guide. Overall for the money it definitely does the job, in my case I just needed it for play, reverse, fast forward and stop.

Good buy, reasonably priced, easy setup, and Iwas able to convert one remote for six!!!

Remote does everything I need it to do so far, which is mostly just controlling the TV and audio receiver. Only item I had to figure out was how to have the volume adjust for all components, which turned out to be easy. I have to press the buttons with a little force, but that means I won't change channels accidentally. Cannot say anything about durability because I have only had it a few months.

I bought this remote with my TV (I bought the floor model and so I needed a remote to go with it). The remote did not work with my 32" Samsung TV. It will work with the basic function like turning the TV on/off and volume but there is no button for the smart TV menu and other features like that.

Lost my high end audio system remote and they we $130 so bought this instead. Works like a champ at a fraction of the cost of the other. Liked it so well we bought another for the secondary audio system we have. Awesome remote

This is my second universal remote, and I'm really glad I spent just a little more to get this one! And really it was just very little more! Especially considering it actually does what it says, and also has True Backlit keys versus a small backlight at the bottom that only lights up a few keys like the first cheap remote. If I had only known, I would have made this my first choice! I needed it to control my cable with all the same functions as the original remote, and also to control my TV with all functions. I plan on adding audio, and have no doubt it will work just as well for that! The ability to program individual keys to what you want to control to make it like the original remote is a must!!! And, to top it off, it actually works great!! I was impressed! I'm going to buy 2 more for the other rooms! I would definitely recommend this remote!

Purchases remote for my 70 year old father to work his Smart TV, FIOS, and Roku devices using one remote. Programming was simple and he is able to work the remote easily. The one down side is the illumination is not very bright, but overall works well for the price.
