    i had very bad experience with the service, they give me appointment for 10am, no one was there 10.00 to 11.00 , he came after 11am and yelling me am late. i asked him to check my call records and Store CCTV, then he was quiet. i wasted my time. this happened at Union Best Buy store.

    The guy who sold me this either lied or didnt know what he was even talking about so i ended up with someone i didn't need and 200 bucks broker

    Best buy did not have the T harness in stock for my Nissan and there was no way to order it. Appointment was set up two weeks in advance. No Tharness, no installation. Waste of time. Items were returned.

    I had remove start installed in my 2016 chevy cruze after a huge hassle with online customer service with setting the date and location. When I got to my install location I was informed I wasnt sold everything I needed and needed to spend an additional $50. Not only this, the remove start stopped working after only a few hours of having it. A week later I set up another appointment to have it fixed. Once again, it stopped working the next day. I don't know if its compustar or if its lack of experience on the geeksquad end but this has been the worst customer service experience of my life from purchase to finish. How can we solve this issue, Best Buy?

    Forst i drove 45 mins 2 times out of my way for them to not have the parts or not show up waited 4 hours came to pick it up after xalling somwone to get me and relized my car had not been moved. Now i have to drive back again 45 more mins for another date. Which im hoping 3rd times a charm. Im very chill person so just call and reschedual before youake me waste my time twice. Lets hope this next one is the next or im about to really be no so nice.

    Was forced to purchase online first. Was told over the phone that installation was possible. Show up gor appointment, sorry we don't install that unit????

    Remote Start Installation

    Very Poor. I bought the Viper product for my wife's truck to be installed. I tried numerous Best Buy locations and they were all backed up by more than 2 weeks. I called and had an appointment scheduled and it was cancelled 24hrs later for an appointment that was 1 month away. They said the only tech they had who was assigned to the ticket was available but unqualified to install the remote start. I tried again to look for ANY Best Buy location, but failed. I had to return the installation and keep the remote start which I got installed at a local place for twice Best Buy price. Definitely not happy with service.

    Ive tried to cancel so many times even though I havent used the service yet it’s impossible they basically force you to go through with the service now im stuck with a appointment in a few weeks

    I had a remote start installed at their Issaquah, wa location and was hot happy with their workmanship. It looked like they were in a hurry and just slapped everything together. My steering column cover was not put back right, Extra clips laying on the carpet with wire clippings and panels not snapped back together... but it does work

    We purchased the starter and installation as a package for store pick up in Grand Forks, ND. Upon picking this up late November were informed the closest installation location was in Fargo. When scheduling an appointment, cannot get an appointment for installation until January. It will be over a little month from purchase. This is still not installed.

    First of all that website is very misleading I bought the remote start for my truck it was shipped by somebody else after waiting two weeks to get it and install I show up and it's gonna cost me an extra $344 that website does not tell you what parts you need it's ridiculous in and I had a fight with the people that I bought them from happeshopper.com is where it came from totally misleading will not buy anything from happeshopper.com again. Best Buy return the install with the T harness with no problem I was very happy with that.

    Check your local Best Buy if you but Compustar products. My local Best Buy said the could not install my Compustar remote star and began to sell me Viper products, which he was more familiar with. Never heard of a company that sells a product with an installation package, then tell you they can’t do it because they weren’t familiar and don’t have the right tools to install. I drive a Toyota Sienna, so it wasn’t an incompatibility issue with the car.

    Horrible trying to get this scheduled. On January 8th scheduled an install for February 4th. They cancelled because their technician didn’t show up. They said the next available spot was March 23rd. Would not recommend them

    was told by tech, they were having 90% fail rate with this unit! he highly recommended upgrading at addional cost. returned unit and they never even asked me why. for $50 more plan on getting anstalled right at the house, with2 remotes.
