Customers regard the Smart Universal Remote Control favorably due to its ease of use and intuitive user interface. Many appreciate the quick and easy setup process and find the functionality straightforward. However, some users experienced compatibility issues, particularly with certain gaming consoles and streaming devices. The Bluetooth functionality is also noted, though its application may be limited depending on the user's setup.

My Logitec $350 1st gen remote with 4x6 screen stopped working - the screen got cracked. I rushed to BB and found this gem! Did quick search while at the store and took it home....no regrets! Was able to setup all devices (A/V, DirecTV, blue-ray, appleTV, Samsung TV) with out any issues. So much so that my technology challenged wife(who I love dearly) was even able to setup here own macros without me getting involved. Super easy to set up, very user friendly, and small footprint. I dare the kids to break this one. Once it's set up you can control the devices from almost anywhere in the house - not that you need to but it's cool. It's installed on iPhones 5-6s plus and iPad mini

This is a very cool product but ultimately is was to complicated for my family to use. The setup wasn't as easy as it was made out to be but once I figured it our it went easier. The instructions were not helpful. I do love that you can create custom buttons that do multiple tasks and customize the layout of the buttons on your phone. Always having my phone in from top the tv wasn't as convenient as I hoped and wished they offered an iPad app as well - I could see having a dedicated iPad in the living room. I also has to move the Blumoo a couple times when one of my other devices didn't receive the signal. If it were just me I think I would have stuck with it but its too complicated for my wife and kids to use, so I decided to exchange it for a Logitech Harmony 650 which was ridiculously easy to set up and works like a charm.

I had hoped to put this in a cabinet with my electronics rather than having to open the cabinet door to use the remote but this needs to be positioned in front of the components so they receive the signals from the Blumoo. This cabinet is such a tight fit for the electronics that the cabinet door is very close to the front of the components. There is no way to position the Blumoo inside the cabinet so the IR signals reach the components. I had hoped there would be a reflective effect of the IR signals to reach the components but they do not. Another option would be to use mini IR blasters to attach to the components but I didn't want to use that method. Another disadvantage is that you must use your phone or tablet as a remote. Someone else in the house can not use it unless one of those electronics are available to them and they know how to open and use the app. After trying this , I'm going to stick to a dedicated remote instead. It may work great for someone else and I would recommend they try it if their setup has room to receive signals or they want to use mini blasters.

This thing is amazing and makes me wonder why it wasn't made years ago. Read the instructions carefully so the initial set up goes well but once it works, man it works. The haters on this product don't understand it because the device works amazing. I have a atmos sound system, oppo blu ray, projector, lutron IR light switch, and Xbox one. This thing turns it all on and controls it flawlessly. The bad reviews mean those ppl don't understand their own needs. The support for those things is crazy too. Almost instantly responses from the team. Way better than a remote that has to charge cost extra for someone to program for you. BUY THIS, trust me.

Never did get it connected to my ROKU, otherwise connected no problem to LG TV, SONY dvd/BluRay, and LG Soundbar. Works fine if you enjoy 1st clicking the app, then clicking which remote you want to use, then if you you need to scroll a certain function it's pretty monotonous.... You can't click to move it's all about a swipe and 1 swipe moves your curser one step. Tried to remap buttons but did they work? Got frustrated with this and returned it, maybe you'll have better luck; would rather pick up 1 of 4 remotes click a button and be where I need instead of of this for the sake of having more to do with 1 device....

I think this blumoo company should make a remote control, so just in case you don't want to use your smart phone.

Blumoo was easy to set-up, but has a way to go before their solution matches the user experience/ease of use of a Logitech remote. When setting up a macro (ex.-turning on the TV, DirecTV at the same time) you had to go through some extra steps to control volume for the TV from the DirecTV screen. And a few more steps to get everything to turn off with one-button. Their tech support indicated software enhancements are on the way, making support for all functions from one screen a bit easier, so I'm hopeful they will get there soon.

The Blumoo remote was my choice because when my current remote quit my biggest concerns were cost and learning how to use a new device. The Blumoo was considerable cheaper and seemed simpler than anything else I looked at on the shelf. When I got it home and began programming it, I had a few challenges on some devices, but for the most part it was easy to set up and easy to use. I like that I don'
t have to be sitting in front of the tv to use it and that it is on my phone which is almost always accessible.

This is one the those types of electronic devices that make things easier to work with. I have a mix of video / audio equipment in my living room and was always looking for the remotes. It picked them all right up and made it so I only have to have one controller for all of them. It also makes it easy to build custom controls if you want. Not needed to build custom be make it easy to build one to control everything on one screen. Works great with my Amazon Eocho as well. You can build custom commands for the Echo that will run all kinds of functions on the remotes. Very happy with this unit.

The concept is fantastic: replace all your remotes with your phone. The installation is as simple as advertised, and once installed, you can control all of your devices in your home entertainment system using your phone. The problem is that you cannot access nearly all the functions, and the user interface is Microsoft circa 1975. If you are a DirecTV user, you'll need to use the DirecTV app or give up access to the reasons you're paying for DirecTV in the first place.
This device has possibilities, and I'll try a device like it again, sometime. This device, though, I took back to the store. And props to Best Buy: no hassles over the refund.

I have been looking for a way to consolidate all of our remotes without buying an expensive universal remote. I tried a few other options but was frustrated by how hard they were to program and lack of some options. I decided to try the Blumoo as it was on sale and had gotten favorable reviews. It has proven to be pretty easy to program (only annoyance factor is how many steps some options require). Overall, I really love this because of how much you customize the settings and that I was able to share my remote setup on my iPhone with my daughter and granddaughter's iPhones. This remote has simplified our entertainment center for a reasonable price! I love that!

I was a bit hesitant to spend this much on a "universal remote" which is what I went into the store for but it was worth it. I purchased a used DVD/VCR combo, older unit. This Blumoo is able to control almost all of the functions from my cell phone. The bluetooth streaming to it has great range (better than the other bluetooth unit I purchased). About the only thing that doesn't work outstanding is I have few buttons on the old VCR and surround sound that this won't do. It's a great purchase.

Need to have some wit when setting up, once set up works perfectly. Bluetooth doesn't automatically connect, Other than the Bluetooth issue its a great product. Love the convenience of operating the reciever and Apple TV from the phone.
