Must have if you are a Petty fan. Tells the story from childhood all the way to household name. Good dvd quality.

I've always liked Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' music, but now I have true appreciation for Petty's career, his life, and his artistic abilities. This documentary will tell you things he's done that you would have never before known- things that may have affected your own life, and musical likes/dislikes. Anyone who has an appreciation for true rock and roll should see this film. Lots of original, unedited, in the moment footage of George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, Johnny Cash, and many other musical greats. See Nicks and Petty sing "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" for the first time, ever- in the studio, while Nicks was reading the words from a note pad.

Tells the story with narration and historic videos interspersed with rare performance videos. Great placement of the music to mix into and compliment the story. Lots of people add their views and give an industry recognition to the accomplishments of this epic adventure.
