I was really excited to get this monitor. It’s a 27-inch 4K display from Samsung’s G5 line, and on paper, it seemed like a great deal—I paid $350 for what was advertised as an open box item in excellent condition. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. Right out of the box, the screen started flickering every few seconds. At first, I thought it might be a cable or settings issue, but after trying multiple fixes, it became clear that this was a hardware problem. After doing some research, I found that this flickering issue is a common complaint with this model, especially in open box or refurbished units. What bothers me most is not just that the monitor was defective—but that I thought I was getting a great deal. At $350, I expected it to at least work properly. For something sold as "excellent condition," this was a major letdown.
