Afterwards I had relatives tell me that this was not a good buy. For the $$ I felt the clarity of the picture would be better. The sound was worse than my TV that was 10 years old. The picture appears to be darker. The remote is very user friendly.

So far so good

Picture looks great. Remote works really well, I even considered using it for my Direct TV. Had some issue hooking it up to may surround sound but the system is dated.
