I was skeptical due to the price difference with the 77 inch., But after unboxing the TV, I’m glad I made the right purchase. The clarity and vibrant color is outstanding. I live in a 1200 Sq ft Condo, and the TV is perfect.

The picture is amazing; deep blacks, very bright, easy to adjust the picture to your liking. It has "advanced" settings like Gamma, etc., and even more advanced settings if you want it calibrated by a professional, which I don't need. The picture is perfect after just a few minor adjustments. I don't know how good it is for "gaming", though. I'm not a big gamer. It's very large. It didn't look that big in the store, but it's huge. I could have done with the 65.

For Sony Bravia XR 4K OLED tv

So many pixels I guess that close-up pictures of the actors/actresses don't do them justice since you can see the make-up added and their wrinkle-lines. This is a full on 'smart tv' and the remote's voice activation works immediately and precise, to the point. Only drawback I have at this time is getting it to work with my (different company) surround system but will have 'geek squad' come and show how I can set that up. Great buy for the price.

Original mistake was adjusting the settings using content from Direct TV. Use a 4K disk or stream a 4K movie while setting it up. While watching a 4K, Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos movie, you become part of the movie. With a 77 inch screen, you are part of the action. This Sony TV will not disappoint.

I was able to use the wall mount that I had and was already using on the TV that I replaced as well as the Samsung sound bar. I did have to scan for local channels (digital antenna) several times before it fully tuned into them, not sure if it was weather related? The picture and sound quality over the Samsung is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this TV.

We also appreciate your feedback if not all of your local channels have added after doing an auto program. The type of reception that you'll receive will depend on the antenna type that you're using and how far a particular station is. ATSC technology is backwards compatible for A80K series TVs, so you will still be able to enjoy ATSC 1.0 technology with this ATSC 3.0 supported TV.
If you believe that certain local channels are not appearing, after doing the scan, antenna rotation or re-positioning may be needed to increase received signal strength. You can also visit the AntennaWeb website online to check which stations are available in your area and the recommended type of antenna to use.
