I purchased the FX30 on sale and, sensor size notwithstanding, this camera is fantastic. I've used it on 3 corporate shoots, two of them green screen, and the camera has performed flawlessly.

I pair this with my FX3 and works really good for matching color in post. Sony's color science is really good and you wont have any complaints with this camera. Shoots super high quality, never heats up and I can pair it with nice anamorphoic lenses!

I've been using it for the past month or so and I've got to say every single feature packed into this camera has blown my expectations out the water. It may be a little sister to the FX3 being a crop sensor and all however it still is leagues ahead of what I've been previously using. It's dynamic range is what I find satisfying to exercise, as I mainly shoot in low-light and ambient setting. Right out the camera, no settings changed; the quality coming out of this camera is one that's made to really satisfy.

The build is sturdy and feels good in your hand, and the display is extremely clear, the red tallies are optional but a welcome addition! Would buy a second for a back up camera.
