This wireless speaker has excellent sound; we compared this unit to several others in the store and nothing but the Bose came close in sound quality. Then you look at the sale price and this becomes a no-brainer, awesome deal. Not tinny or muddled like the others - clear treble, with strong bass.

I've been really satisfied with the speaker. It sounds amazing and the extra bass option seems to have been worth it. Connects easily and consistently with my and my wife's phone. We took it to the beach and didn't have any problems. There are cheaper options but have no regrets about buying this one

Sounds are good considering the size of the speaker. NFC pairing is a breeze if you have compatible phones. Volume is loud for medium-sized living room. The battery life is quite good. I've been listening for 2 hours/day for 5 days before the battery light start flashing. Charging is quick.

I wanted to buy a portable speaker but didn't want to break the bank. I currently own a Bose and JBL portable speaker and I would rate the Sony in the middle. The Bose speaker I paid $199 and it really sounds good. The JBL was $99 and sounds ok. I paid only $69 for the Sony on sale and it sounds better than the JBL. The battery lasts longer and it is very easy to pair to your phone.

Great buy. Great sound, easily portable and very cute! The charge last a good amount of time. I originally bought this for a family vacation so that we have some entertainment while we were in the house relaxing but I have used it way more than I thought just around my house!!

Walked into best buy to shop the black friday deals and was looking for wireless speakers for my sister. I have owned Bose and love my JBLs as well, so I was expecting to pick up either of those brands for my sister's present. While sampling the several types of bluetooth speakers in the store, I came across these Sonys that were half off at $49. I tested these XB2s playing some Passion Pit, a classical track and was blown away by the richness and quality of the sound from this little speakers. I picked up one and my dad, who happened to be with us for the holidays also bought one. After using it for a day just around the house we decided to go back to best buy to buy 2 more as gifts for the family. My dad and I were impressed at the volume, bass and the overall quality of sound that comes out of the XB2. We also connected 2 speakers together and it was amazing. If you like the sound of one XB2 you would love the sound of 2!

We wanted a Bluetooth speaker without paying the high cost of most of these types of wireless speakers. This one was worth every penny. The Bluetooth connectivity is easy to use and the sound is absolutely terrific for its size. Bass sounds really, really good too.

I have purchased six Bluetooth speakers recently, struggling to find one that suited my needs. I listen to music and podcasts at my desk. I'm not trying to rock the house, but I really wanted great sound quality and room-filling volume. It mostly sits on my desk, but I take it outside when I'm out with the dog, to the kitchen when I'm working on meals or cleaning, and into the bathroom at shower time. The last location being the big test. I didn't want to buy a single-task shower speaker, so I've been looking for one with enough volume and resonance to hear easily over the shower while it sits on the vanity. No issues with any of this. It's plenty loud with good bass and does not cut out when listening to podcasts or audio books. The wireless connection is easy and it has a range of about 25 feet from the transmitting device. This product performed exactly as I needed. Big sound. Great resonance. Portable.

I purchased this speaker to carry along on a trip to my timeshare with my family. It served its purpose wonderfully. the sound quality was nice and the battery life was great. everyone was amazed at how great it sounded to be so small. I paired it with my smartphone.

Purchased two of these speakers one for myself the other for my daughter. Indoors or out excellent sounding speaker for such a small package . My neighbor has a Bose speaker about the same size, this sounds better at half the price. Just buy it !!!

I bought this as my first bluetooth speaker. It beats out my Bose bluetooth in every facet except sound quality. This one was about half the price, much louder and the phone conversation are very clear. It is well worth the money. I did drop it a few times at a 4th of July party. Since then when the battery gets low the volume maxes at about half

Bought to use in my Ford Ranger cab with my Android LG phone. I'm using the bluetooth to cast my music & podcasts to the speaker. It is working perfectly. Speaker sits on the hump next to the stick shift. My rubber flooring along with rubber feet of the device assures it sits securely. Sound fills the cab nicely. Impressed with the weight of the speaker. Has a heavy, quality feel unlike some others I've had my hands on. My truck stereo is AM/FM with no CD player or Auxiliary input. This speaker / phone setup works nicely for listening to my personal choices while driving. Also, was able to pick it up on sale ($69.99) and so I'm very happy with the value! Obviously, the speaker's portability gives me many more options outside of the truck... by the pool, at the beach, with my laptop, etc.... so the versatility is a big plus. I'm very happy with the purchase.

The Sony Xb2 provides great sound quality and long battery life (at least 8-10 hours at medium volume). I got it on sale for a price 3 times less than the comparable Bose speaker and I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.

This little Sony cost a lot less than any of the other quality names. It puts out great quality sound and plenty of volume. The charge is also lasting a long time. Only problem is the kids keep stealing it to play their music now.

I looooove my speaker! I got it in the bright orange/red color. My dad gave me a Best Buy gift card for Christmas and I knew I wanted a Bluetooth speaker so I browsed and weighed my options. I've purchased many Sony items over the years so I felt comfortable with the speaker and was in love with the After Christmas sale price! It carries so much sound for such a small speaker! It's fun and compact also. They're so colorful and I plan on buying the other two colors available!

This speaker has great sounding bass and very clean crisp sound, the charge last for a good long time, I would recommend this speaker to any one who wants something that will fit anywhere you go, I think this is a great value

This bluetooth capable speaker worked with my MP3 player via cord & that is what i wanted. The sound was great. Volume control appropriate. A perfect travel companion in my room & team bus. It made my tour complete.

Went to BB store looking for portable bluetooth speaker. Not all of the brands that I wanted to listen to were on display or worked, so it came down to this speaker & Bose. The Bose sounded great but besides the bass, not so much better than the Sony for the additional $$$. Felt like this one was the best value when it came down to quality & price.

Awesome sound and bass; battery life is great; very portable. Overall, great speaker for the price.

For the price of $50, this is amazing. Pick up two and pair them together, it creates great stereo sound. Bass is clean and clear, highs and mids are balanced good. Serious volume too! Love this speaker.
