Great case because it protects the phone without adding unnecessary bulk. Durable when I've dropped my phone, but I've not dropped it often because of the grips. The faceplate is protecting my screen nicely, but looks unattractive when the phone is not in use.

Finding the right color case for my wifes lime green Iphone 5c and the speck case fit the bill. The case has a quality feel and fits perfectly on the iPhone 5c. The hard plastic has great coverage around your phone with rubber protecting the rim of the face and also all four corners.. The Lime Green rubber is also the part on the sides and back that is raised and provides excellent grip. It will keep grip on most surfaces and isn't super sticky in your pocket like a full soft rubber case. All of the buttons work but as expected require a little more pressure. The ring/silent switch is open and safely recessed but still easlily accessible with a trimmed fingernail. The lightning connector fits in without any hinderance. It install easily and probably won't come off in even a 10' fall on pavement. My wife did not like the single piece screen protector saying it made the phone to bulky (alittle thicker then, a credit card )opting to use another type of screen protector.

My daughter and I each have this case and love that it matches the cool colors of our 5Cs but still gives ample protection. The matching screen cover/faceplate is awesome and really provides great protection. Been using these cases for almost 2 years and after drops, teenager carrying in a pocket - phones are undamaged. My daughter's cracked after 1 1/2 years but we replaced it with the identical case.

Speck makes great cases. The Candy Shell Grip fits the iPhone 5c perfectly and does a great job protecting it. My son put this on his blue iPhone 5c and the colors match perfectly. The grips make it easy to hold onto the phone when talking and when gaming. The only complaint is the faceplate. Does not go on properly and we ended up just keeping it off. The iPhone is still well protected without the faceplate on it.

The case comes in two parts. A case for the phone itself and a tough screen protector. The case itself is excellent and definitely provides good protection. The screen protector does a great job or protecting the screen - it's really strong. But that seems to be part of the problem, if it isn't perfectly flat when you get it then it won't sit flat on your screen and you will get a bubble at either top or bottom, or in our case both. Unfortunately this was a gift for my mother overseas and so I wasn't able to return it. I recommend this but would combine with a standard screen protector.

The case is sturdy and has stayed put for over a month now. The screen protection can be a bit tricky to get smoothed out but I did it in the car as soon as I made the purchase. I did find this cheaper elsewhere but didn't want to wait for shipping plus I loved the colors of this one. I've dropped my phone twice since putting this on and it just bounces and doesn't leave a mark. Just as good as the more pricey brands. Especially since I don't intend to swim with my phone in my pocket. :)

Has good grip so phone doesn't slip out of your fingers. Also doesn't slip off console or dashboard. Nice snap in cover for faceplate. Just takes patience to put it on correctly and not end up with air bubbles. This is the second case (same type, same color) I've bought. First case lasted 2 years of daily abuse. My phone takes a lot with my machinist blue collar work. Went thru one case and it really saved my phone. Dropped phone on hard surfaces from standing height several times too and no problem. Would definitely keep getting this case no matter what phone I have.

Case looks great. The combination of hard protective plastic and slip resistant rubber bumpers is better than any other case that I've used. Better because it's equal protection without adding too much bulk or almost doubling the size of your iPhone. The faceplate with screen protector is an awesome feature but be aware it takes patience and very steady hands to put it on correctly. If you see air bubbles or it doesn't seal correctly especially at the corners you'll need to take it off and reapply. Best results if you adjust so it's centered as much as possible.

I chose this case because I chronically drop my phone and shattered the glass once and had to have it replaced. I typically prefer "wackier" cases with cool designs but there really is no such case with the protection I need. This case is at least a nice color and, so far, it has protected my phone (although I haven't dropped it as much because it also has grips to help keep it in my hands).

I was constantly having to replace my 16yr daughters phone due to cracked screens and what not even with insurance this is very expensive to do and since purchasing this device I am worry free since I have witnessed her drop her device several times with no problems I consider this one of the best devices I have ever purchased from best buy. Good case for the price and good color for kids. Sturdy.

The speck case has been very durable and sleek. It is light and matches the 5C color perfectly. The only negative is that it was challenging to place the screen protector perfectly on the phone. I recommend the case, but place the protector with care!

My first iPhone broke the first time I dropped it, so I bought this looking for something more protective than my previous case, which was just a simple silicone skin. It's a solid case that does its job--so far, it's kept my fragile device safe from another drop, and the screen protector has shielded it from water, oils (I use my phone in the kitchen to follow recipes when cooking), and even Chipotle hot sauce. If you're accident-prone, this is probably a good choice for you. However, I've had bubbles on my screen since the first day I put the case on--after following the application instructions meticulously--and have never had this issue with any screen protector before. I tried to learn to live with them, but personally, they're pretty annoying to look at everyday so I do plan on purchasing a different case soon.

I just bought the iPhone 5c and wanted to buy a Speck Candyshell case. I have used a Speck CandyShell case case for several years. The Salmon exactly matched my new phone. A Speck CandyShell case I protects my phone - even when I have dropped my phone. Very well made, not heavy and cumbersome. Excellent value for the cost. These cases have never broken - I just wanted a new color. Always will have a Speck CandyShell case!

My daughter received this phone case for Christmas. She loves the color and it provides good protection for the phone. She did have an Otterbox with a cover for the front of the phone and this one does not have that so that is the only concern I have about the case.

Excellent case - all of he Speck cases surprisingly protect our devices - we have had 3 different ones and they wear out or crack before the device gets damaged...unless of course you run it over with you car tire :) then the case shatters and the phone remains in tact !!!

Case is definitely nice, not too bulky but sturdy enough to feel as if it provides good protection. A little slippery on the back side but not too bad. Have dropped it a few times and haven't gotten any cracks (probably just jinxed myself)

I don't have previous experience with this brand, buy the case seems sturdy, says it complies with military standards, and it matches the color of my cellphone, only time and real life knocks will tell if this turns out to be a good product

I bought my first iphone in bright green. I did not want to hide this fun colorful phone inside a case. I was delighted to find this durable case with faceplate included that perfectly matches the color of my phone! I have dropped this phone on the floor and on the ground outside on more than one occasion and the phone has not been damaged!
