    Urgent need door fixed

    I am still waiting on a call back from the Clearwater store to get my door fixed.. they never got my driver door fully intact..and I need u guys to fix it.. it’s been months and no call back and no email.. I need this to get taken care of.. I don’t want to call my car insurance over something they should had fixed in the first place..

    I was charged $50 to install a speaker. The old speaker was blown. Was told short in speaker wire. Would cost $25 for every 15 minutes to find short. I said no. Returned speaker, paid the $50. Took car to a another place to check on wiring. Was told nothing wrong with wiring. Twenty minutes later drove off with new working speaker in car.

    I was buying two sets of speakers from them and they charged me twice installation. Ended up canceling.

    The front Speakers have a loose wire. When I go over bumps in the road the front speakers go off and on. The car engine can be heard thru the speakers on start up and take off. I have called the store multiple times over a 2 week period to have the issue resolved and no one answers the phone. I will say this is my 1st bad experience with Best Buy installs.

    Door speakers

    Not very impressed with installers. Power switch on passenger side ws nice and tight when i dropped truck off, and was broke when i picked it up, head installer denied breaking it and said they did not remove it. Second installer said when he used his drill on the screws the switch just came off. Head installer said truck is very clean for its age but things break. Was not happy with his comment.

    They sent me an email saying my reservation was cancelled. No warning, no explanation. The day came that my reservation was supposed to be one and I got another email saying “Sorry we missed you”. But i thought the service was cancelled? I disputed charge with the bank. Annoying.

    Installer missed original appointment. Required second visit to the store by my wife. All four speakers were installed. Front right down rattles a lot everytime volume is turned up. None of the other doors rattle. Speakers were installed in a brand new (2015) car. Not only was the $130 to have the speakers installed a waste, but more cash will have to be laid out to diagnose and correct the broken door. Strongly do not recommend this service.

    I was setup for an install with the wrong components. Sent from the Best Buy in Springfield mall in Queens to a location in Yonkers because they had the earliest date. Kept my date and went to find all this out. No install. My car now has 2 more problems it didn't have before. Windows rewired & locks not working.

    Terrible job in installing the speakers. We could have done better ourselves. Just an inconvenience to take in the first place and now we have to take it back again because you can't listen to the radio. The person must have known there would be a problem when I picked up. I didn't hear it because there was no bass on a country and western song.

    I showed up and the technician was great, he let me know that the speakers were not a good fit before he even started installing and then I got refunded for everything except the install cost. I have been bounced around from customer service at the store and agents at bestbuy.com and still have not received my refund.

    Geek squad ruined my car doors

    Scheduled an appointment to fix my after head unit, came back to all of my after market speakers taken out and the speaker holes were cut too big so now my speakers fall out, can’t get a refund or anything from these guys

    Speaker install did not go very well, the technician was not experienced at installing speakers and these speakers are simple to install, I had to bring my vehicle back to have them installed correctly. The store manager said they are having difficulty hiring experienced techs.

    For starters, when I got my car back it smelled like cigarette smoke. I mean reeked of cigarette smoke. There was a loose screw in the floor of the passenger side and that speaker now rattles. I now have to take it to a different store to get fixed. So disappointing.

    Geek Squad Install Services (Auto) - Disorganized

    I'd like to offer a good review, but at this point, the install still hasn't been completed. It's been rescheduled several times for various reasons by Best Buy. It's actually become quite absurd. Apparently you only have 1 person that can do the work and that person is apparently always sick or over-booked.

    poor job best buy recommended speakers for my car and when they went to install them they did not fit . big waste of my time since I had to wait three weeks for my appointment and then find out front speakers don't fit . they also left my car a mess which in their sales pitch they claim to vacuum and clean car
