The game itself adds some flair to the original (adding in anime cutscenes with new ones created just for this game) and the extra stuff that came with limited edition were also pretty neat. The poster and the storyboard is a pretty unique addition (compared to other limited edition that usually have artbooks).

The original Steins;Gates VN is what I'd consider a masterpiece and this is basically that with the anime style visuals. While not as unique in terms of art I believe its still very pleasing and will be more enjoyable for newcomers. Only disappointing thing is no english voices, but I don't mind personally.

This game is pretty pricey if you think about how it's a remake of a game you can buy for half the price on steam; however, they really did change it. The original game is a visual novel with still images. This game uses the anime motion pictures. To some, they may prefer the different artwork from the original. In my opinion, this game is like watching an anime. It starts off slow with an annoying main character, but soon enough you'll start meeting supporting characters that make it feel a lot more enjoyable. Note: only Japanese voice acting is available, so expect to read.

The story great, the graphics are very nice, if you are an anime fan, this is a perfect video game for your anime collection.

The box came a bit battered but everything inside was good. The story is interesting but you should only get this edition if you already enjoy the series.

The series this game is based on is an amazing one, so seeing this type of game made based on it and being so well achieved makes it a great purchase for the Switch.

If your into the Anime movie then this game is worth getting to play at the protagonists and experience the game itself.

Story of Steins gate is so good. I've owed the vita version. This version is better with more animation and better visual

This is an interesting remake of the visual novel Steins;Gate. It uses animated scenes (many straight from the anime, but some new ones as well for alternate endings) instead of still images. While some prefer the original art style over the anime, seeing the pictures in motion brings something to the table that sucks you in. The story is clever, funny, and at times heart-wrenching. I highly recommend this game, especially the Switch version for portability’s sake.

I was expecting the original visual novel, but everything was replaced with clips from the anime. It's cool and all, but I was expecting the original experience.
