I am very happy with this television. The picture is gorgeous and I got it for $330 on black Friday but even full price this is a great deal. I dont love roku, but you can get other streaming apps and we have an Amazon Fire TV box hooked up to it. So you have other options if desired. My PS4 looks great. Highly recommended!

I purchased my TCL Roku TV back on June 11th, 2018. The back light just went out this week and that is the only reason that I am giving this a 4 star instead of 5 stars. Besides the TV not working now, it was an excellent television. Very easy to understand and use. I tried myself to repair my television but to no avail. I viewed a repair video on YouTube and it said that I am better off to buy a new one versus getting this one repaired, due to cost factors.

Found setup quick and intuitive. Aside from my network password the system identified the peripherals and offered the yes/no questions for a seamless setup. Although TCL was not a brand I was familiar with the product contains picture customization for most tastes. Bright, clear. I am anxious to try the 4k feature.

I bought this TV to replace a Sharp 50' TV I recently bought but got damaged. I find that the picture quality is a little better on the TCL than the Sharp. They both have Roku functionality which I really go for. Overall its a good system for the price I paid. Didn't have any higher expectations.

First off great tv for the price good 4K picture, good options to search for content my PS4 syncs up nicely with it. I wall mounted it and synced my sound bar. Everything is pretty seamless. I like sound on the tv and how it connects to Sound bar, along with the fact that it starts on such a trendy selection page. I'd give it all stars except for color options. I Think that the automatic color selector could be better the vivid option is kind of blown out. Sports option seems to be the best but I still had to manually do slot a lot of tweaking and using online tutorials to get it right. I'm still working on it but it's better. When you tweak the color however the depth of picture is there. So over all for the price it's pretty darn good. I watch jr every day it's my favorite new toy. Oh also the themes are really cool like wallpaper for your computer. Ok have a good day. With one notable and very problematic exception, this would be an excellent 5-star television. Great picture quality, easy to use, Roku TV. Loved it, until the sound lag about 1 1/2 years from purchase. Video and sound were "off", for a bit, then the sound also turned garbled (literally sounded like someone gargling while speaking), then sound went out altogether. After Googling the issue, it's apparently a 'thing' with this TV. I just have to periodically unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug back in so it reboots, and ta-da, sound fixed...until a month or 2 when it happens again. TCL needs to come up with a plan or recall for all of us who are tired of doing this, for this otherwise great TV.

Amazing TV for the price. Definitely not a 120 refresh rate so you can tell on high motion images. With that said still a great picture for a low price. Roku interface is seamless and very user friendly. Going to go with smaller screen but same model for the bedroom.

Good color when watching movies on dvd or cable tv, good sound, but the color quality is different when you're on different apps such as playstation, youtube, etc.. Also, the remote has VERY LITTLE buttons. Otherwise it is a good smartTV for the price. 55" for $370

We bought this tv for seasonal use in an outdoor screened in porch. We needed smart tv cuz it was too much of a hassle to run cable line or set up additional wifi satellite service. This was my first Roku device and I have to say while I'm not going to return this tv, I would not buy another "smart tv with Roku". It does not give you free reign of surfing the web but rather choosing from its preloaded apps, most of which require an additional monthly subscription...of course with most offering your first month free. I'm sure I can jailbreak it but why chance it on a $400 part time tv?? The picture is great, sound quality is decent but now a days, all the new tv's come with horrible speakers so you upgrade to a soundbar that makes it sound amazing, right!! Super easy to set up and with additional hardware (sold separately) mounted to the wall in no time.

Hesitated for a few weeks before buying this TV. Read a few reviews and decided what the heck. I’m pleased with my decision to buy this TV. Picture is good, sound is good, and overall functions are good. This TV was extremely reasonable also!

I have Roku devices on all of my "non-smart" tvs and it is my preference over Firesticks and Apple tv. It's very user friendly and self explanatory. I knew the Roku tv would be no different. Great picture quality as well.

Easy to set up for my college kid's apartment. Looks great. Smart functions work quickly. Like most TV's now a days, the sound is not great but we have external speakers to remedy. Only a couple of days old but hopefully lasts.

Very nice and solid TV for the price. The apps and picture are nice. The only knock against it is that the TV emits a moderately bright indicator light when powered off, which is noticeable if your room is completely dark.

If you are upgrading from a standard TV, then this is your best option for the size and price. You will see a big difference. If you want a better TV, look at the 607 model for $200 more. Both TVs have Roku, a major plus!

Great picture and easy to use. Only thing I don't like Is the roku remote control. Was told I would need a receiver to use my surround sound system but was able to hook it up anyway and it works great.

The tv has been great! The remote doesn't work so well, when sitting about 6 feet from the tv, the remote is hard to communicate with the tv. The remote should have been wifi instead of ir

The tv has a pretty good picture. The one thing that bothers me is that when you turn the TV on you have to use the tv remote to select cable box. You have to do this every time.

I put this TV in my home office and I am really pleased with it so far. The picture is fantastic and I am also a returning Roku customer. It has some good and bad but the good definitely outweighs the bad.

While I find the picture to great and nice and clear,I did find the remote not very user friendly,much prefer a regular tv remote for the tv itself or I would have given it a 5 rating.

The 55inch TCL Smart is perfect for us. Great picture and includes a number of streaming services. Easy set up and configuration to connect online and stream thru a number of services.
