The BluRay disk worked fine but the Digital HD Download advertised I could 'Instantly stream and download' the movie to a TV, Computer, Tablet or Smartphone. Yeah, right. If you follow the directions ("3 Easy Steps") you're forced to select a service to download from. If you select Google (my error) you'll find that you can't download the computer to a Mac computer (!!!) - you can only download it to a google chrome or Android computer. So, I was unable to download this movie to add to my iTunes library and the company didn't care to help - emails were returned with 'we're sorry, but...' BS. And once you redeem the movie from one service you can't redeem it from another one. And the services don't tell you if they have limitations (like won't work for Macs, etc.) Don't assume that the Digital download feature will work for you! If you don't need/want digital download don't spend the extra money to get it as it won't necessarily work for you.

I'm a big Wes Anderson fan so...I was a little bit disappointed in Grand Budapest Hotel. I don't know, it just seemed a little less engaging than what we're used to. It still has some high points and moments that stand out, sure, but if this is a candle, it isn't burning as bright as some of Anderson's other movies.

I do not think this movie would appeal to anyone who wanted to simply be entertained and not delve deeper into the meaning of the movie. The comedy was amusing but underlying it all is the tragedy of war and the murder of innocents whose lives are altered forever.

Not a review of the movie, itself, but of the physical product. Based on the packaging, I see no way that this item could have been damaged en route. Instead, it appears that the plastic case was crushed and broken at the corner prior to shipping. I allowed three stars because the customer service desk at the Plano, TX Best Buy was exceptional in effecting an exchange. They showed immense awareness of their product and stock and I left happy.

I'm not sure what I expected of this movie, but, even though the cast includes many well-known and respected actors, it was not my cup of tea (and I DO have a sense of humor). It's a very tongue-in-cheek story and I got bored with it early on. I tried, but I just didn't care for it, unfortunately.

Not for everybody. National reviews made me take a shot at this movie. Was a little disappointed, not for everybody. Typically I like this type of movie, very lukewarm opinion after my first viewing. I'll probably watch it one more time, maybe I missed what appeals to most of the critics. I wouldn't talk someone off the movie, but wouldn't encourage you to watch it.

This movie started off a little slow but about 30 minutes in it finds a way to draw you in. If you're a fan of Wes Anderson you know how strange his movies can be. It's probably a movie I'll only watch once but it was definitely worth a watch, great cast, and had a lot of laughs.

I never really 'get' Wes Anderson films. I read about this movie several times before I decided on purchasing it for five dollars. I thought the movie was just ok at best. It's entertaining, but I wouldn't say that I needed this to add this to my movie collection. Watch it once and that's enough. If you like indie-esque type films, this isn't bad.

I enjoyed this film but, how to say, from a distance. I liked the whole idea of this hotel out in the middle of nowhere, but the story line quickly got too wierd for me and unbelievable. Many others have enjoyed it so I may be the odd man out here, but I dont really see a need to watch it again.

Not my favorite Wes Anderson movie. I wasn’t invested in the story. There were pets I enjoyed, but overall, I give it a 3/5

I'm not a big Wes Anderson fan so I didn't care for the film. In fact, I don't know how anyone could spend so much money on such a great cast, superb visuals, and magnificent production design on such a hollow and uninvolving film. But the Blu-ray is top-notch. If you're an Anderson fan (I'm not), you'll love it.

Bought this one as a gift because I knew the recipient likes Wes Anderson flix. I had no idea they had seen it but they were stoked when they got. “I Love This Movie,” they said. So I guess if you’re a fan you will too… Bill Murray rocks no matter what however so keep calm and chive on with what works.

This was not the movie we meant to get. Wanted the one with Judi Dench. But we watched it all the way through. it was difficult.

Some people love Wes Anderson but I don't. Still, as this one seemed to have greater appeal beyond his core fan base I decided to take a gamble. Haven't seen it yet but looking forward to checking it out.

Odd plot (most of it a narration of World War II era memories). Very quirky people/situations. Great sets, Great costuming. Overall, an interesting experience to see once, but not necessarily something to have in my library for future use.

i got a great deal for this online from best buy and i thank my lucky stars i did not pay full price for this movie. my husband and i could barely stand to watch it. i gave it 3 stars only because of bestbuys great price and timely delivery

Wes Anderson is a great writer/director, but I personally feel this is one of his weaker films. I prefer Moonlight Kingdom. Ralph Fiennes is great though and the directing is superb, just felt it lacked joy.

The Grand Budapest isn't that funny, and after seeing it I probably won't rush to put it back on again. It has an ok story, but the movie itself I just couldn't find that good. It had a few parts that might be ok, but not what I thought.

I bought this movie not knowing much about it. I think it is worth seeing once, but I probably won't watch it again. The plot is unique and the acting is good, but it was too slow for me to want to stay into it.

This was kind of a disappointment. Maybe I was expecting something funnier or something, but this movie was mainly quirky, not funny. Maybe a different sense of humor.
