One of the most original and authentic movies I have seen in many months. This is a slice of life, at the level of real people in the normal world, outside the confines of Hollywood and made-for-TV movies, although it is a world you would probably never experience. This is what movies are made for: go to a place and time you could not possibly know, just for a few days, and let yourself experience a completely different kind of life; one that is nothing like where you grew up, with people like none you have known. The actors do an excellent job of suspending their own natural selves, when they could obviously make a lot of money doing other movies, and give us a taste of something unique.

Gleeson and Fassbender play father and son again, of course in two different films, though, you get to see more of a father and son on screen chemistry in this one. Great performances as usual, especially by Fassbender, (what an amazing actor he turned out to be) though you just can't pass up Gleeson in this one also as usual. Get it today!

A very well directed movie with an amazing cast about a family of Irish outsiders who steal to survive with some very intense action scenes.
