Love the series overall. Season 5 was good, but not great in my opinion. There was too much focus on story-lines that people don't like/care about and not enough focus on the ones that people do care about. There is such a big departure from the books in season 5, its a pretty far reach for a lot of it..., don't get me wrong. I enjoyed seeing my favorite actors in my favorite show, just the same. I'm hoping season 6 returns to something closer to the books.

Have all the seasons on either DVD or Blu-Ray. While all are worth watching, my favorites are seasons 3 and 4. Season 5 was good, but feels like the some of the story lines are dragging along at different points. Probably the best season finale of all seasons though. If you are new to this series and don't have the time to view the previous seasons, I recommend atleast watching the season summaries on youTube.

a little plot development to go with the tight bodies and gratuitous skin. maybe not if you're looking for intellectual stimulation but it satisfies as simple escapism.

This was bought as a gift and was a hit. My daughter is a big fan and loves to collect her favorite TV Series on Blu Ray/DVD. For anyone that has followed True Blood and likes to revisit older episodes this is it. Picture looks great. Overall it was the perfect gift.

I have become hooked to the true blood series but be warned if you have read the books the show does not go completely by the books stories line. I can't wait to see what else happens to poor Sookie. And defiantly an adult only show.

Season 5 of True Blood provided all of the elements that we have come to expect from the show. It looks amazing in HD! Plus it leaves you with a cliffhanger that leaves you dying for more. :) Love the series, and season 5 doesn't disappoint.

Season 5 isn't the best of the series but it does finally get Sookie a little further away from Bill and Eric. The Authority is finally revealed along with the story behind vampire religion and it's kind of boring. Russell Edgington may be back but somehow his character has lost its bite. Tara's changes are interesting as well as Lafayette's reaction to everything going on.

This is another awesome season for True Blood. It's sexy, funny, action packed and dramatic. It's everything True Blood fans have to come to love and expect. There are really no special features worth while on this season's DVD though.

I am a huge fan of True Blood and happened upon season 5 while I was shopping for a new computer. It was on super sale and totally worth it as I generally wait for several seasons to go by before purchasing so it will be cheaper.

Season 5 is one that we looked all over the place to find. Different regi stores around the ear and they did not have it. We went to best buy for our last stop and low and behold, there it was!! Very happy with the quality

I love this show & am not able to watch it on HBO because we don't get that channel so I buy the complete seasons when they are on sale Black Friday. This show has a great story line if you like vampire shows/movies.

This has been another great season of TRUEBLOOD. This season covers a big area leading up the fight between the vampire leaders and the average vampire. There is a great lead into season six that has started with a bang.

I've only personally seen a little bit of the show, but my wife loves it. So if you're into this kind of show it's probably for you. She isn't a fan of Twighlight either, so it's got something that show doesn't I guess.

True Blood is my favorite TV series. I always buy each and every season on blu-ray at Best Buy because they have the best price. This season is packed with all the intense action as expected. Definitely a must have!

My daughter and I loved the True Blood series. We didn't want it to end. At least we can watch it again and revisit our Vampire friends whenever we want. Another great add to our collection.

One of my favorite shows, however I was a little disappointed in this season. I thought it couldn't have been a little better. It seemed like half of the characters were in one location and the other in a different location. I didn't get a very good sense of cohesion between all of the characters in this season as in previous seasons.

True Blood is probably one of the best shows on cable, that is if you're into that kind of thing. I've been a fan since season 1, but Season 5 to me had just a tad too much going on. It felt all over the place, especially the Ifrit story. It just didn't need to be there. It was a good season, but way too much going on for me.

Though not my favorite season, season five of True Blood continues to impress. It is filled with action, drama and an interesting story line for any fan of the supernatural world.

True Blood - great writers great actors great directors everything! Thank you HBO keep up the great work! This season was the politics of the vampire nation - was a great season!

Very addictive show. Although I personally l love the first few seasons the best but even with this latest installment they still manage to keep us hooked and thirsty for more.
