My husband has went through SO MANY elite controllers before I finally convinced him to give this one a try. The ergonomics are excellent, tactile response of the buttons is crisp and clean. The on controller programmable buttons is an amazing feature. This controller is absolutely worth the price!

I got an out of the box item with no charger but overall a great controller. Very fast respond at 1000 hz. Don’t know about the life span as I only had it for two weeks. The controller feels great in your hands.

I normally use PS controller, but got a game that just don’t support so decided to get a xbox one, ergonomic is very good and build quality is great, very comfortable for someone that rarely use similar controller, all the buttons and sticks are nice. The only complain i had is the software, UI need some rework and always force to open full screen for no reason

    Best controller for Xbox

I have been bouncing around Xbox controllers since stock Xbox controllers only have a 125hz Polling rate due to a limitation with Xbox Wireless. When I saw this controller with Pro features and a 250hz polling rate, hall effect sticks, and mechanical buttons I was definitely intrigued. While the controller is not perfect it does work extremely well. Battery life cpuld be better but you could lower the LED and screen brightness to help with that. It also works seamlessly as a wired controller or with the included dongle. The antifriction rings do not seem do their job, but it isnt too different from the Elite Series 2. Overall, I will say this is the best controller for Xbox and could even be a solid option for PC. However, PC has access to other controllers that might be more worthwile in terms of feature set for the price.

Great control overall back paddles really helpful for extra buttons needed in specific games the only down side I can say is that mine has stick drift slightly but other than that good quality control

I recently purchased this controller for my Xbox Series X, and while there are features I absolutely love, a few aspects were less impressive. The setup was a breeze, and it has been performing flawlessly ever since. Although the build quality feels solid, it is a bit lighter compared to my Xbox Elite controllers. The charging dock is a fantastic bonus, ensuring the controller is always powered up, which is essential given the built-in lights and screen can drain the battery quicker than I anticipated. Its seamless PC connectivity makes it a versatile addition to my gaming laptop, turning it into my preferred "on-the-go" controller.

    Needs another firmware update.

With this joystick I enjoy the hall effect sticks essentially eliminating no drift issues. The joystick feels good but the D pad does feel mushy. The downside is the software needs allot of work but I knew that going in. Turtlebeach app on your phone for setup garbage, most features are not in the app. The xbox app, you can make all types of changes but never syncs to the joystick. The best way to make changes is on the joystick itself using the lcd screen. I have 60+ hours on the joystick now. It has randomly disconnected twice, have experienced ghost menus touches 3 times. Also this joystick will not turn on your xbox as advertised unless your xbox was turned off in a 5 minute window. TB advertised this joystick having a 30 hour battery, aint no way. I have everything turned off rgb lighing and lcd adter 1 minute. Im guessing this joystick has a battwry life of 12-15 hours max. A little adjustment since my elite 2, only recall charging it twice a month. I feel another firmware update could get this joystick dialed in. Only time will tell but i do plan on keeping it.

    Falling apart

The controller works great and performs exactly as expected during gameplay. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the left side handle - the adhesive seems to be failing, causing the rubber to lift. I take excellent care of my devices, and this problem definitely didn’t result from dropping it or misuse. It’s disappointing that such a small design flaw takes away from an otherwise solid product.

I have used the elite 1 and 2 since they released and really enjoy them. I wanted to try this one and here are the differences. First thing it's crazy light compared. It's feels cheaper, but I actually enjoyed how light it was. The buttons on the back are right in the center of the handles. It takes some getting use to compared to the elite because the elite has them stacked vertically down the handle and this one puts them perpendicular to the handle towards the middle of the back. I do wish they were a little higher and not centered, but it's a wash. The elite had serious problems with its shoulder buttons. These will much better to use and not as cheap but time will tell. The start and select button are moved from the middle of the controller to the very top next to each joystick. This has to be the absolute worst placement for these buttons ever. Want to be you can't press the buttons very easily without lifting your hand up and over the joystick so you don't move the joystick to press the button it's obnoxious. Programming this thing is a breeze with the screen on the controller. You can do stuff on the Fly you can change all the colors it's really nice. The social stuff I can't ever get to work so that's a negative to me but I wouldn't use it that much for that anyways. The buttons feeling incredible pressing every single one of them and having the record button on the controller like most of the newer Xbox controllers is really nice as well. I do hate the d-pad and that you can't remove pieces like the joysticks to swap out for different sizes. I'm speaking of joysticks they do feel really smooth they say they won't drift which time will tell but there still seem to be some issues with maybe the programming around the edges especially. Now some weird things about the control that I'm not sure about. The joysticks have some serious problems at the edge of the range that it doesn't seem like you can get 'corners' very well. It's very noticeable if you have a radial menu and a game you're playing because it's hard to get to the top edges ' corners' of the radial. It also randomly disconnects from the console saying controller not recognized and you have to hold to shut it off and turn it back on which is another negative because it takes forever for this thing to turn off and on.

Is it an over kill? Yes, but I could not go back to a normal controller after using this. All buttons are mouse click and the screen is unique for a controller. Nothing else like it on the market.

Great responsiveness from the thumb sticks when setting dead zone to 0%(Stock is 5%). Buttons feel nice and clickly.. Controls and menus take some time getting used to but are a breeze after a few days. Connectivity is clumsy but only when pairing the controller to the dongle. Otherwise, when its connected its a firm connection via wireless. Controller is light, way lighter than the Elite Series 2. Still has a premium feel to it. I prefer this controller over the Elite Series 2..have both and used them long term. This controller feel really responsive and I enjoy using it for shooters like Apex Legends. Worth $200? I would say yes, its a great controller.

Ok, in my first review, I would recommend it but warn that the superhuman hearing is an option among options. It used to be a setting on top of a chosen option. Next were the remappable buttons. They are placed so well that you accidentally hit them all the time, which makes them useless. Now it has been four months and the whole reason for buying this controller was the hall effect sticks..... no STICK DRIFT ever again........ but guess what, yep STICK DRIFT. This controller lasted me no longer than a regular Xbox controller would. I believed so much in Turtle Beach, I didn't buy any Best Buy coverage. Guess the joke is on me, I laughed, I cried, I kissed $150 goodbye. That is a lot of money for 4 months of a controller.

Let's get the thumbsticks out of the way first. They're amazing. The Hal-effect sticks are worth the hype. Great response, and after dropping the controller over a dozen times there has been no negative effects. The mechanical buttons reapond great. Trigger stops paired with the calibration you can do basically make them feel mechanical. I haven't been able to stay awake long enough to test battery life in one session, however i can leave it off charger for multiple days and have no issue. Comfort over long sessions could be better but not enough to lower ratings. Overall it is worth buying. 10/10 recommend.

Best controller I have had in a long time. I have an elite 1 and 2 and they both have stick drift. This one has not been an issue, even with everyone complaining about the grinding of the left stick from the antifriction ring. When I felt it start to grind I would clean it with a cloth and it would be fine. Even now I havent had to clean it as often as the initial coating has worn off and the controller is great. The only issue is the software on the pc as it has some quirks of not saving and you are better off changing the settings in the controller itself. Would recommend and just say get a cloth to clean the sticks every so often.

This is the best controller I've ever owned. I have owned several traditional, both xbox elites, and a scuf instinct pro, this beats them effortlessly. Very tactile. The rear rocker buttons, and all the buttons for that matter, feel and sound like clicking a mouse. The sticks are smooth and have no delay. Losts of adjustment can be made on the conteoller itself via the built in display. I will admit, it is a bit annoying to have to connect the dock to the xbox, in order to use it wireless (it doesn’t connect to the xbox directly). But the input delay is also better than other conteollers due to this. I also cannot speak to durability yet.

Solid device. Power house for its features. So much so that it holds it back. My girlfriend was charging her controller daily with 4-6hours of use. Otherwise it was easy to set up and use on the daily. It had great feature on the lcd display and in the app.

I would give the controller itself between 4-5 stars. Feels solid in your hands, The software app was terrible. I expect more from a company like turle beach.. I returned my controller simply due the software app experience. If you dont care about the app and you just want to set it up once and forget about it i can recommend this controller.

The controller feels solid and comfy, with super-responsive buttons and sticks. Love the built-in audio controls for game/chat balance, perfect for headset gaming. Great value and a big upgrade over the standard Xbox controller. And impressed with the fast charging feature—it cuts downtime between sessions and keeps me ready to play without waiting forever. Really convenient hub for wired/wireless play, and best of all, zero lag in either mode.
