My surround sound didn t work well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really was disappointed with the whole set up, This guy put my receiver in my cabinet and then when he was ready to leave after 4 hours i could't open the other side of the door because the receiver was too big, he should have asked me for a solution before hooking it all up, then he had to leave.......

Set up

Between the 500 emails and phone calls cancelling and rescheduling my installation I would never ever use them again!! Thank goodness for Ryan who works for them that is an independent that I happened to get hooked on the phone with on one of these "reschedules" and he said he would be there and he was - even when they told me he wouldn't be!!! He saved Best Buy!!!

Poor Job

Completely unhooked all wires from my surround system so nothing would work. I repeated several times to hook it back up and he would not do it. I'm 71 years old and can't get back behind it to take care of it, Sorry I tipped him.

Friendly service, but not good explanation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When the geek squad came to my house to set up the TV, they did a pretty good job in mounting it to the wall, but they did explain how to set up the air channels, or what was needed to get those channels. They just said, all you need is your cable, that is true, but to some extent. They did not help setup the channels just in case I decided to watch non-cable TV.

Posted .Hello Elizabeth – I’m sorry that we weren’t clear about what was needed to have cable set up on your television. Generally speaking, you’ll just need to get a cable box from your TV provider, and plug it in to the television with an HDMI cable. Please reach out to your local cable provider for more information about cost and getting that box out to your home.

Disappointed

Also, he was unable to connect my surround sound speakers to the TV. I am extremely frustrated and annoyed with the incompetency of the Geek Squad and have a zero level of confidence in their so called technical support.
