very risky

It seems to me that over the past 4 years or so the only drives I have had that have failed were WD Passports. I bought this one to use for one reason and it fulfilled that and now it sits unused until perhaps next time. I've had partial photography libraries lost on two different Passport drives. This one I bought when it was on a very good sale to use to transfer one computer system to another. I don't use it for anything that I hope not to loose. I used this drive again this year for a semi permanent application and I'm crossing my fingers at the moment. WD was my go to for years. Now I use LACIE Rugged drives.

Easy to set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had 2 instances where it do not perform a backup. The first time required a tech support person to help me fix it. The second time I shut the computer off and then turned it on. Seemed to work.

Tricky to use
