This refrigerator has a lot of features packed into a small footprint. We had limited space to work with and this was one that would actually fit - bonus it had everything we wanted with French doors, water and ice. Great visibility to all the corners. It could be a little brighter inside. The way the light is oriented causes a few shadows but that’s a very small consideration with the otherwise perfect size and features.

I needed to replace titre old appliances that were starting to break in my new condo. I wanted a French door fridge that would fit into the tighter space that a smaller low-end Frigidaire fridge was slotted into and this Whirlpool was one of the few models that would fit. I was nervous after years of owning Samsung and LG appliances, but went ahead and bought the fridge, along with a Whirlpool range, microwave and dishwasher in a bundle. That was a great decision. This fridge is very well designed and has a lot of room and flexibility inside of it for being compact. There are two large fresh produce drawers — I use the smaller one for cheese and the larger one for vegetables & fruit. They stay fresh thanks to Whirlpool’s filter technology that they have you install on setup. The flexible shelves inside the fridge doors are rearrangeable and have plenty of room for milk, juice, drinks, condiments, butter and eggs. The freezer is a standard two-level drawer with conventional tubs and an ice maker. It holds about two weeks of frozen food for a household of two, and the ice maker is quiet and fills up an empty tub of ice within about five to seven hours. The filtered water dispenser on the front of a compact fridge is welcome. It doesn’t dispense ice (you need to to to the freezer for that), but water comes out nicely filtered and ice cold. This is a lot of fridge and freezer for the money, and for the space it takes up. I’m glad I bought it. The only negative on the unit is a small one — the right hand fridge door closes “lightly,” so make sure you press it fully closed. I have had the fridge alarm ring out because I didn’t fully close it after grabbing an item so have become accustomed to giving it a press to ensure it is fully closed.

Love it! French doors are great and living alone, the capacity is perfect for my needs. Really appreciate the ice maker and the door water spigot with filter is great for making coffee and filling water bottles is a breeze!

Love whirlpool. Sales rep looked for this frig all over the country. Found one middle of country and had it shipped to New Hampshire. Delivered and in place. Water on door. Fits space and plenty of room for a smaller size frig.

I was not planning on getting a stainless steel fridge due to finger prints, but the color I originally wanted had to be special ordered and would delay delivery. So, enter this finger print resistant stainless steel choice and I said ok. Fridge was delivered and I can't stop just admiring how pretty and shiny it is. We ended up decreasing the cubic feet we had before. Honestly, I cannot tell that we lost room. Everything has a place. Milk can go in the door. 1 adjustable shelf for tall items. My favorite part is the ice maker. Coming from a side by side fridge, getting ice from the compartment was a burden. Now, we just slide open the freezer door and reach in for handful. FYI, LED lights within, love that.

I have been waiting for a long time to buy a refrigerator like this one in this size. I am very happy with the size and fit. It is easy to replace the filter and has enough space in the freezer and refrigerator.

The refrigerator functions well and looks attractive with all the features it has. But the inside plastic drawers feel very cheap; the doors cannot be opened 180 degree so it is very difficult to move the shelves. It is also pretty noisy overall. We won't buy it again

Installers hooked up the water line but I never use it and have not turned on ice maker. Love the refrigerator, the double doors and the freezer drawer below.. the only thing that stressed me out was the big buzzing sound it started to make one night. I called my GC and they came over, made it so the wheels worked- rolled it out and unplugged it. After they unplugged it, a motor sound kept going and then ended. They both were confused why anything would be running after they unplugged the electricity. They waited and plugged back in, since then their gage been no sound so far. Today the microwave was installed so the installer went ahead and disconnected and capped the water for me. I have an appt for the Best Buy guys to come check it out. As there is a warning inside the freezer beware of explosion! What’s that about ? Intend to find out when they come!

Great except for getting build up of ice.It does freeze things in the back of the fridge at times even thought suppose to be sam e temperature.It also makes ice a little faster than i can use it.And cannot get to the back of the freezer part where there gets a build up back there.Coulkd be better

I like everything about this refrigerator except the top 2 doors require attention when closing. They just don't close firmly so I just have to be more aware of what I'm doing. Also, the side doors don't leave room for really tall items. Neither do the shelves.I have had to do a bit of adjusting but it's being dealt with.

Purchased refrigerator from in-store returned/damaged. The packing had been removed and there was a small dent in the freezer drawer. The price was discounted and a little further discounted for Labor Day. Have had it 2.5 months. I have an old house with a very small opening - 32". This is one of the few that fit at 30" wide. It replaced a side-by-side. This one does NOT hold as much in the refer as the side-by-side did. One minor issue: The wire arm you lower or raise to have it make ice or not sometimes sticks in the up position. It raises and lowers every time you open or close the freezer door. It has done it enough that the ice tray has never totally filled, but we've never ran out of ice-notice the ice is getting low. I may add a small weight to the wire. Longevity is unknown. Our side-by-side lasted 28 years before the door seals and hinges began to fail.

Great fridge, the smaller footprint allows this French door to fit in a standard smaller fridge cut out which is what I needed. Ice production in the freezer and filtered water on the door is awesome. My only complaint is occasionally thing freeze in the fridge no matter where we have the temp set at. That could be user error just because we pack this thing up pretty tight!

We were very limited to what style of refrigerator we can place in our kitchen. This one fits very well with just an inch to spare above it. One downside. We have to run the moisture control option all the time. If not, moisture builds up on the door. The technician said that we didn't need to since we don't have high humidity (Tacoma, WA) area. It runs well, but the moisture control is always running. Not sure if this is normal. If we don't, moisture appears within a day on the moisture indicator on the door. This is the only issue we have observed since we purchased it just over a month ago.

A very nice refrigerator. It's compact and was the only newer-style fridge that we could get to fit in our small kitchen. It's a little small, which is fine because it keeps us from buying too much food that ends up expiring before we eat it. Overall, it's a great product.

I purchased two of these fridges for my multi-family property. The in-store purchase experience was great. The salesperson was of great help and helped us with our questions. The delivery people who were here were fantastic, far exceeded my expectation for delivery. One fridge was delivered to first floor, and the second fridge needed to be delivered onto the second floor. The delivery people didn't flinch and just carried it onto the second floor with no problem. I live in Jersey City, NJ, and have purchased major appliances from other stores in the past, but ALL OTHER stores have horrible delivery team. Either they were inexperienced, or they were rude and unprofessional. Best Buy is great in every aspect in terms of purchasing major appliances. Highly recommend! I will be buying all my major appliances from Best Buy from now on.

Fridge is good for the warehouse that we’re using it for. Shelves are not sturdy and difficult to keep in place

It does its job and is a good fridge. I agree that shelves are smaller and close together hard to fit certain items like milk and larger condiments. Also wish that the left door closed easier and that there was an alert that said of the door was ajar.

Everything was handled very well at the store. The delivery men argued with me that the new fridge would not come through my front door or fit in the space. The they sat down on the floor and rolled it across my hard wood floor. Then one them refused to hook up my water line and told me that a copper line was not the right item to use and I would need to call geek squad to have come and and hook up the water. I finally convinced home it was fine so he went out to his truck and got a pvc hose and hooked it up and told to water very carefully because that copper line would leak. They never explained anything about the fridge. They just left. I had to figure it out myself. He did not even show where the book was the the fridge. I like shopping at Best Buy but NOT THE DELIVERY SERVICE !!!!

Great fridge! Does what its should do never had an ice maker and filtered water before was easy to hook up.
