So far so good;have had only for a month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There was only one basket in the freezer side and it was smaller than in previous whirlpool which had fewer cubic ft! And although there were plenty of notches to allow for rearrangement of shelves, (although some were not at same height on both sides ?) there were not enough shelves to provide option of smaller spaces so as to avoid huge stacks of frozen food! So I made my own shelves out of 1/4"plexi and added some plastic baskets from big lots and can now better organize and not have to dig through large stacks of frozen food to find one pkg. Same design flaw on fridge side: notches for extra shelves BUT no extra shelves for better sized spacing. Seems as though all units have only a minimum of shelves,baskets, drawers, and door pockets. Given the price of the unit, such extras could well have been included.

Definitely noticeable in the next room when the ice maker cycles, but it's usually just a low hum for a few seconds, and I probably won't even notice it as time goes on. We've had it for a month. We bought an open box model with a couple of dents and a scratch, but it isn't noticeable behind the kids' magnets. I wish I could switch the door drawers up on the inside of the fridge, but they are different sizes at the top and bottom. No huge issues though. Operates without any problems so far, even as an open box item.
