    I would NEVER install this brand ever again! It never performed the way it was advertised to performed. Never got any satisfactory results. A waste of money, plus I paid for worthless insulation services. If returned it came with an overstock fee.

    HOOD IS LIGHT GREY-NOT WHITE-UGLY VISIBLE LABELS!

    HOOD IS LIGHT GREY IN COLOR - NOT WHITE! There are three large crooked ugly labels on the underside of the hood that are visible, no panels to the left and right of the center filter to cover them or the fact that the hood will be impossible to clean after cooking because it's wide open, you can see holes, bolts, etc. It's very quiet-can't speak to functioning yet. Whirlpool needs to pull this off the shelf and start over with quality control.

    I ordered this online and when I opened the box, which looked like it had been kicked around, the whole front was dented and caved in. I called and it was really easy to get a replacement sent out. When I received the replacement everything looked great until I took it out of the box. The whole side of this one was caved in. So I called again and the lady I spoke to couldn't find my account and then transferred me over to geek squad who had no idea how to help me because I didn't order an install. I have yet to get this issue fixed as I tried to use their online chat and was told this issue can only be fixed over the phone. I just want my item not damaged, is that so much to ask?

    This is not a fan, this is a decoration piece. When we first got it we turned the low switch fan on and couldn’t tell if it was working, then we tried the hi switch and could hear a very low hum. We could not stop laughing. We still laugh to this day every time we turn it on and when guests try to cook in our kitchen and tell us that it’s broken (even though it’s not, it just really sucks) You literally do get what you pay for. If you want a working unit, spend a little more money. Otherwise, for $99 it does the job as a decoration piece.

    This was purchased for an under the cabinet install in a condo and as a beginner this was a terrible purchase. The description does not mention what's in the box exactly and the type of electric connection it makes. I needed a ready to plug in and not hard wire due to the set up of my kitchen. The box does not come with the plug in cord kit that the manual mentions. Upon inspection of the manual, a filter and light bulb are also required and not included in the purchase. Why is nothing included for this to be an easy set up? It would help if these were at least included in the check out process. Regardless - I would opt for an option that includes everything I need so I don't need to make another trip for these items. I returned this the next day. As for the look of the range hood, it looked fine. I only commented on the buttons looking hideous upon initial impression as they are these huge black plastic knobs. I was going to stick with it as it's just a range hood but the box didn't have anything I need for instant use.

    The fan has two settings: almost does nothing and kind of does nothing...are you sure it's on? Still unsure if it is broken or this is it. Waiting for more reviews to help me decide if I need to contact Best Buy. On the bright side, it looks good and was super easy to install.

    Ordered online during the stay at home order. I ordered new. It came to my house, had clearly been opened and re-taped. When I took it out of the box, there was a small dent on it, and it just so happened to be right in the front where you couldn’t miss it. Pretty disappointed.

    We ordered the range hood new. It came dented, The box had been opened and re-taped. Some one had used something very sharp to cut the protective coating to start removing it and cut into the metal. We returned it and bought one someplace else.

    Got my order in and the product came plastic wrapped however when best buy cut around the fan and light button they cut the stainless steel with razor blade Mark's and fan doesnt work now have to wait to receive a new one in order to use my stove!

    What a piece of junk and Whirlpool should be ashamed for selling it. It doesn't have enough suction to vent steam. Yes its quiet, but thats probably because its not venting anything. I will be returning this piece of junk.

    Fan is weak. It looks nice at eye level but if you look at it from underneath it is very chinsey - if I’d known that before buying I would have kept looking.

    This hood had the suction of a catastrophic chest wound: not powerful enough to de-smoke a room, but still concerning and certainly life-threatening.

    ... it's more about the person who suggested it. Went in, picked the stove. Bad boy kicks out 57k BTU. The sales person was like "hey, how about this one?" and I'm like "sure!" NOPE luckily I did more research and figured out this little guy isn't nearly strong enough to keep up with our stove. boo I wouldn't recommend this to a friend mainly because my friends have big gas stoves. This would not be good enough for any of them. If you're not my friend and have a small stove, then yeah ... maybe I'd recommend this to you. However, I was asked if I'd recommend this to a friend. The answer is no.

    arrived very damaged and it was supposed to have been a stainless steel hood but it was grey. Was not as pictured very disappointed all around

    The fan is almost useless. The product looks good, but does nothing in the kitchen other than shine. This was a disappointing purchase.

    Purchased this a couple weeks ago. Just had it installed. Exhaust fan barely works. Waiting for pandemic to subside a bit before I call for a new one to be installed..... at no cost to me. I know this is a bad time and in house replacement is not an option. I just paid $60 to have it installed. Very disappointed. Stay away from this model. Past reviews were hit or miss that the exhaust would work. I missed.
