The game isn’t bad, but for $20 more your only paying for an okay steelbook and subpar DLC items. If you don’t care enough about a steelbook and in game items then i say your chances of saving $20 and getting the standard version of the game will still do just as fine.

To start off, I’m not a Soulsborne guy like, at all. HOWEVER, I was in love with this game. I grew up on Dynasty Warriors since the second one came out on PS2 and seeing the initial trails with demonic Lu Bu had me sold. The gameplay is not very forgiving but you really do “git gud” and every victory feels VERY rewarding as you progress through the game. I think it’s a great intro to Soulsborne games if even Elden Ring was a bit too much to start off. Elden Ring makes for a great second step into the world of Soulsbornes after you’re done with Wo Long.

A good follow up to the Nioh series with the five elements opening up a variety of builds to suite any play style. Be prepared to parry.

Finally received my copy. Its a HARD but fun game. If you like souls games this is a must have. Keep playing the demo until you get the full game; everything carrys over to full game. You start of where you leave off on demo.

Great Team Ninja game. Mechanics are accessible and fun, and the early bosses teach you core fundamentals that will carry you to endgame. Story leaves much to be desired, even if you know Chinese history and mythology. Great quality of life improvements for some carry over systems from Nioh.

Definitiey has Nioh vibes but with a mix of sekiro with the deflections but more user friendly than past souls games. First boss is more difficult than some later in game. But if you like Nioh you’ll definitely find this game enjoyable as well with combat.

Love the game. The quality is great. Took a while to actually start but finally did and I do not feel behind. I can enjoy the game at my own pace and I enjoy how it is.

    Preorder - Bamboozled again

It’s looking like I won’t get the edition that I preordered months ago. If any Best Buy representatives are reading this, please look at my account and look at how many items I’ve ordered in the past three years that have been cancelled on your end. Hint - it’s more than 20. I’m not holding my breath that this time will be any different.

Bestbuy has once again dropped the ball by guaranteeing a preorder and store pick up yet item is "delayed" which essentially means I won't be getting my item. Thanks!

Like others here my item was preordered the day they went up and somehow its delayed on launch day. This is quickly becoming the typical Bestbuy experience.

I’m with the others who are in purgatory. Who knows if we’ll get our game or not. That’s a problem. I preordered the steelbook edition almost two months ago. I’ll update my review if I ever get the game, in the correct edition. Let the waiting begin…
