    Decent Performance over GTX 1070

If you have a GTX 1070 or below, this might be a good one to get at a wonderful price. Roughly about 10% give or take better performance. The 5700 does tend to run hot, but none as bad as the XT variant. It's only slightly worse than the 1070 I had previously. Granted, XFX has improved on the design, making the thermals and temps run much better than when first initially released. You're better off finding one of them if temps are a concern. The only major downside is the fan noise. It's been reviewed by many techtubers about how much the fans sound like a propeller. The trick is setting the right fan curve so you don't get as much noise from them. You still hear it, but it's not as bad. My fan goes as high at 75% with my curve and the temps stay decent with moderate noise. Many people have issues with the drivers. I haven't experienced anything bad happen yet. I am using 20.1.4. So be weary and do research.

This card is amazing for 1440p gaming. I like to keep my card running cool so I decided to set the base fan speed at 50 percent while gaming with 10% increments for every 10 degrees... With that the fans can get loud and sometimes a kind of like fan rubbing noise every now and than. Power draw is close to 200 Watts so this thing will put out plenty to heat to keep you warm in the winter and hot in the summer. I do plan on buying a new case and some bottom 120mm fans to help with thermals but this is not a knock no the video card. If you plan to play most games ultra setting and 1440p or higher this could do it, but I would recommend something more powerful. Amazing value card.

This card has very similar performance to a Nvidia 2060 super but at a much better price. It’s bulky so make sure you have a sizable atx case to fit it in.

The XFX DD Ultra RX 5700 card is a great option for an aftermarket card. It has better thermals and higher boost clocks at a lower price point. The card does run hot, but that is to be expected with an RX 5700 card. It also runs quiet, so a more aggressive fan curve could help thermals by sacrificing noise levels. At $320 at the time of purchase, this XFX card is a great pickup.

I went from a Radeon R7900, which is still a decent card but it is not going to get you steady 60 fps on max settings. This new card is a beast and I highly recommend it. It could run 144 fps on many games with the right adjustments.

This is a fantastic deal on a high quality card for 1080p. For the card quality - dual blower, metal back plate, HDMI and Display Port - and the output of this card, this is best you can get in the $300 range.

The card is fairly beefy and has a decent size cooler on it. Still I do ramp up the fans to keep temps below 75 at stock clock speeds. There's a decent amount of sag due to the weight. Looks really good in my build though, and not planning to upgrade very soon.

Very happy with this card. I can run games on high settings, it runs cool and not noisy. The card was priced very well and came with two free games and a 3 free months of Xbox game pass. Way to go Best Buy. Amazing card and an amazing deal. I will definitely be shopping here again.

I replaced a MSI Armor RX 580 with this XFX RX 5700 DD Ultra. Before upgrading and while the 580 was still installed, I updated from Radeon Adrenalin 19.12.2 to 19.12 .3. I'm happy to report the upgrade to the RX 5700 and 19.12.3 software went perfect and I have experienced no issues at all. So far I've played Star Citizen, The Division, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and ran a stress test on MSI Kombustor x64. Everything ran smoothly, with improved fps and temps over the RX 580. Cooling fans spun up and down appropriately with changes in gpu temp. No black or blue screens, no artifacts, no stuttering, nothing. It works! The XFX RX 5700 DD Ultra a rather long and wide card so I suggest comparing the dimensions of the card and your system before buying. Ryzen 5 2600 w/stock cooler, ASRock B450M-HDV, 16 GB G.Skill DDR4-2400, XFX RX 5700 DD Ultra (non-XT), EVGA 600w 80+ PS, AOC 24' Curved 144hz monitor
