It does not put my iPad to sleep when I close the case. The keys are too small for me to touch type. It does not open wide enough for me to be able to use the bottom of the touch screen.

Great protective case
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a new version of the Zagg keyboard case to fit the iPad MINI 4 and it is a disappointment. I used the original Zagg keyboard case for the first mini for 5 years with o problems. This new version does not have a backlit keyboard and most of the keys do not work unless you hit them 5 or 6 times. So the keyboard is pretty useless but the non slip hinged case is very sturdy & shock resistant and keeps my iPad sitting upright so I do not have to hold it all the time. I do hope the more use it the keyboard will adjust & work better.

I was looking for a detachable spine case like the one I had for a older model iPad. After receiving the item in the mail only to realize it did not perform as depicted. I called customer service to only inform them of the discrepancy and the representative did not seem to care they were mis representing an item on their website.

But if you're looking for what the pictures show, which is a multi purpose convertible style keyboard case...this is NOT the right one! I even told Best Buy when I returned it that they need to correct their website, but it's still wrong!

I've had some good and some bad zagg cases but the cases usually crack. They have a lifetime warrantee so zagg will keep replacing them forever, but this one wasn't worth replacing.
