Arguably the greatest war movie ever made
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie looks absolutely amazing on an OLED tv. Together with surround sound, and that's as good as it can get outside of a theater. The sound, man, it is just so amazingly intense. The picture quality was phenomenal. This 4k version did not disappoint.

4k Private Ryan is grain free
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Private Ryan on bluray was unwatchable. Terrible. Spielberg's fault. The 4k is clear and naturally bright. Color pops off the screen. The Atmos soundtrack is outstanding. Spielberg filmed this movie grainey on purpose. He probably will hate the 4k edition. I love it!

You Get One Disc Only
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m reviewing this for Bestbuy not for the movie. The Steelbook version has only one disc. In the discription says you get 4k and Bluray but theres only one 4k disc no regular bluray. Cmmon Bestbuy! why you do this huh? Future buyers beware on getting the steelbook just get the regular 4k Disc!

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Saving Private Ryan is an absolute triumph in war cinema, delivering a visceral and deeply moving portrayal of World War II. Directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks in a stellar performance, this film stands as a testament to the human spirit amidst the horrors of combat. The opening sequence alone, depicting the harrowing Normandy beach landing, is a cinematic masterpiece that leaves an indelible impact on the viewer. But beyond the stunning visuals, Saving Private Ryan delves into the complexities of war, exploring themes of sacrifice, camaraderie, and the personal toll of conflict. It's a gripping and gut-wrenching journey that resonates long after the credits roll, solidifying its place as a timeless classic in the annals of cinema.
