- A: AnswerSound like a HDMI cord/settings/input issue. I have mine set up with a 4k HDMI, input into the 4k 120hz input ( not arc unless you have soundbar), and changed my settings to quality rather than performance. That fixed my pixelating issue as performance tends to drop the frame rate which was causing pixelating.

Standard picture mode(which is what the tv is set to out of the box) is a great starting place for watching videos and is the picture mode Sony works very hard on perfecting. If the picture is not to your expectation, then we recommend individually adjusting the picture settings such as picture mode, brightness, color, clarity, etc. for optimal experience. Also you can select Auto Picture Mode to On and the TV will adjust the picture and sound settings per content. Example if you are watching sports, the XR motion will adjust for the best experience for sports. Must buy!
Owned for several months now and have to say this has been the best tv decision I’ve made. Unbelievable clarity and very fast operating system. Links up perfectly to my Apple products and my streaming apps

Great TV, so-so remote
The picture on this TV is excellent, right out of the box. Calibration further improves the color sports, nature shows, and live TV. The 4K streaming quality is impressive. Adding channels is easy, but only a limited number appear as defaults. There are two quibbles I have that kept me from giving this TV a five-star rating. First, I was unable to program my FIOS satellite TV with the supplied remote. I could switch to FIOS TV, but I couldn’t record or play back shows. That requires the FIOS remote. Second, the remote doesn’t light up. All remotes should have an option light up when they are picked up so that the controls are visible.

Great TV
I purchased this TV for an older couple who are friends of mine. They LOVE it. The picture quality is awesome. It's their first smart TV and they find it easy to use.
