Awe inspiring
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best movie soundtracks ever recorded! Arguably the best Star Wars soundtrack ever! John Williams did his usual fantastic job. 'Battle of the Heroes', a theme for Anakin's fall to the dark side, is the highlight of the album and there is much more great music to be heard. Themes from all six Star Wars movies are woven together seamlessly to create an orchestral triumph. The feel of the score is dark and foreboding, a perfect complement to the movie itself. This CD includes a bonus DVD which is a nice Star Wars music video collection. The best pieces from each Star Wars soundtrack are set to scenes from the movies and Star Wars artwork for some great videos. I really enjoy watching that DVD, it never gets old! May the Force be with you!

John Williams
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a collection of greatness. John Williams is possibly the best in film scores. You can tell that his work with Memoirs of a Geisha has even influenced some of the pieces in episode 3. If you love music from films there is no way you wouldn't add anything of the Star Wars soundtracks.

Great Musical Collection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great music collection. It has the whole movie soundtrack, including the main Star Wars theme that everyone has come to know and love. It also comes with a DVD that lets you experience the journey to create the soundtrack. This a great CD for even the most casual Star Wars fan.
