Fantastic!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a blind buy for me. I heard great things about this series, but decided to check this out first to see if I like it or not before purchasing the first 5 seasons. Well, looks like I will be getting Seasons 1-5 now, because this was great! Loved the way this looks and the Blu-ray is incredible.

The best Star Wars show ever!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the greatest TV shows ever and it certainly is the greatest animated show I have ever seen. The show has amazing in being able to show many different aspects of the clone wars around the galaxy with the creation of amazing characters like Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, and Asajj Ventress and the amazing portrayals of classic characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Mace Windu, Commander Cody, fives, Echo THEEE Bad batch and many others. The clones are humanized in a way not thought possible and they are completely changed from being a mindless army of clones to a diverse group of individuals that you find yourself deeply caring for. The show is able to grow as each season goes on, slowly maturing into becoming a rather dark show. This show is not without its missteps, but overall it is undeniably fantastic. Arcs like Umbara, Mortis, bounty hunters, Order 66, and the finale Siege of Mandalore are rich in themes and good story and the ending of the show is absolutely heartbreakingly perfect. Growing up watching this show to be being able to see the final season at age 12 was an unreal experience. No show will be able to match the encompassing and intense effect this show had on me throughout my formative years. George Lucas and Dave Filoni knocked it out of the park and brought some gravitas to an animated series in the galaxy far far away. This was the greatest TV show ever as a kid especially watching the finally it was really sad especially what you hear.

Lost Missions - Lost No More
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a fan of the Star Wars franchise since its original release waaaay back in 1977, my opinions on all things related to that galaxy far, far away tend to be a bit biased. That said, there is no fandom more critical of its source franchise than Star Wars fans. I am NOT that fan that would buy a pile of brown waste simply because it's called "Bantha Poodoo" and has the Star Wars header across the top of the package. Fortunately, The Clone Wars animated series is definitely not Bantha Poodoo. With consistently high quality animation and writing, these stories allowed me to spend some quality "Star Wars time" with my own children while being able to enjoy the show on my own at the same time. The Lost Missions provide the opportunity for fans to own the last episodes of this fantastically rendered series previously only available through Netflix, as the final season was lost to Cartoon Network during the purchase of Lucasfilm Ltd. by the Disney megalopoly. These final pre-House of Mouse episodes offer a bit of closure to the fans of the show, as well as just some good ol' fashioned fun to the more casual viewer. An entertaining watch for anyone, and a must-have for die-hard fans.

Clone Wars Season 6-Get This Collection!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent collection of episodes! Questions answered about the Sith ( the rule of 2 ), things Yoda saw prior to the execution of order 66. Yoda’s meeting with Qui-Gon Jinn and the ability to commune with past Jedi. Wish it was in 4K, but it does look good. Sound was excellent, too. Reasonable surround effects. Animation is spot on. If you’re a die hard Star Wars fan go get it! The extras are really good, too.

Fantastic Clone Trooper storyline and Yoda rules
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Start Wars fans will enjoy this animated cartoon season that continues the wonderful story arc of Clone troopers that started in Season 1. The voice acting and animation is still top notch, but what make the cartoon series shine, is the non-Jedi character writing and plot stories since Season 2. If a Star Wars fan one doesn’t have a Disney+ subscription or have high bandwidth internet, this set is definitely worth buying. The highlights of the season are the story arc regarding the Clone implant that directs them to follow Order 66 and Yoda’s investigation into the Sith.

A show that was canceled too soon...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When the prequels were released, I was disappointed like many, but especially because we didn't get to witness anything but the beginning and end of the Clone Wars. Then this show was announced. 5 seasons later, I was so disappointed when this show got canceled. While it has its warts here and there - pacing of the early seasons, questionable storylines, etc, it also has its shining moments and delves deeper into the Star Wars mythos. It gave me a weekly dose of my favorite galaxy far, far away, and focused on a plethora of characters, not just the same core characters that the films focused on. Fantastic storytelling, mind-blowing production quality, writing that puts some of the prequel writing to shame and a killer soundtrack by Kevin Kiner - this series should not be missed. In particular, there are some wonderful moments in this half-season (originally started as season 6, now dubbed "The Lost Missions"), it will not disappoint. The Order 66 and Yoda Arcs alone are worth the price of admission.

A must buy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a fan of the series i was sad to hear it would only run 5 seasons. Then came the news that there were 13 episodes that never aired on TV. These episodes were exclusive to Netflix subscribers and only for a limited time. I'm glad that Disney finally has made these available to the FANS of Star Wars. Disney being the parent company of Lucas Arts is was unknown if they would take the interest and release these after their acquisition of Lucas Arts from creator George Lucas. This is the unofficial 6th Season of Star Wars / Clone Wars, tentatively titled " The Lost Missions ". Your collection is not complete unless you own this set. Some of the best episodes of the entire series are here. Do yourself a favor and pick this up while you still can.
