great tool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter uses it daily for almost 2 years. It would be my go to as well if I had to purchase another one. It has all the functions needed for calculus and engineering courses. The choice is yours but this tool works well and some of my colleagues would swear by it as well

A must for advanced Physics, Math and Engineering
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ti-89 has many time saving features. Foe physics, math, and any engineering field, this is a must have tool. Solving multi-variable equations, linear algebra matrices, or differential equations takes half to a quarter of the time. It does take some time to get used to all the functions and how to impliment them using the correct syntax, but well worth the learning time.

Good for engineer students.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Helped me get through school. All the cool engineers had one. Really the only reason i got it was for solving integrals during electrical engineering exams because by that point in school professors aren't trying to figure out if you can solve an integral. They care more about whether you can set it up properly abd give a correct answer. Gonna be honest, though, during my job if i had to solve an integral I'd just use wolfram alpha instead. I'd use my lightweight ti-36x pro on a normal basis. Works great, lightweight, and what I'm most familiar with because it's the best calculator you can use that's still usable on the national exams. Great for on the job calculations.

Best science/math/engineering calculator, hands do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had one for nearly 7 years before it broke, and had no problems during that time. This one is a replacement for it and I love it just as much. I am an engineering student in college and I would not have been able to get through the coursework without this calculator. It is intuitive to use, and very powerful with excellent battery life. This might be a little too much if you are just doing basic math classes so you would probably be better off saving your money, but if you are going into something math and science heavy, this calculator is worth every penny

A lot of power in a small package.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has a lot of power in a small package. Can do many things a computer can, but in a smaller package. The price is teep, especially considering the non-Titanium version is much less and does most of the same things.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This calculator is great for those taking college level calculus classes. It's easy to use and has loads of functions. A little pricey, but was a requirement for class.

Q: QuestionCan this TI-89 calculator copy and paste equations so you don't have to retype an equation over and over?
Asked by Levi.
- A:Answer Hi Lexi, You can copy and paste information like entries on the entry line on the home screen. Users may refer to page 211 of the TI-89 Titanium Guidebook for further reference, https://education.ti.com/en/guidebook/details/en/FA1DC891957E4700B46A67255850C592/89ti Cutting or Copying Information to the Clipboard When you cut or copy information, that information is placed in the clipboard. However, cutting deletes the information from its current location (used to move information) and copying leaves the information. 1. Highlight the characters that you want to cut or copy. In the entry line, move the cursor to either side of the characters. Hold ¤ and press A or B to highlight characters to the left or right of the cursor, respectively. 2. Press ƒ and select 4:Cut or 5:Copy
