Still going strong
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To begin - I have watched this show since day one. I have absorbed everything that the crew has to offer and I have grown with the characters on the show. This season, although decent, felt like the characters weren't themselves. Leonard seems to be getting weaker as a character, even though I felt like overall he was the most interesting. THey make it seem like he simply bows to Penny's every wim.. while also bowing to Sheldon's every wim.. it's like he has become the "b----" character of the group instead of the interesting one. Raj is a helpless horndog, Howard has become whiny at every turn and overly jealous of Stewart to the point of being excessive, and Sheldon seems confused on what direction they want to take his character. I still enjoyed the season, but I would like to see the characters return to form and progress in a more natural path instead of just randomly jumping around.

I buy Big Bang Theory Each and Every Year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, I am an old man (very old). But my BS degree (from the 1960s) was in Physics, then Computer Science, then Math degrees. Not many TV shows appeal to me, but from the first time I saw Big Bang I liked it, and I have all of the seasons. I knew (or perhaps, I was one) of the nerds on the show. While there were fewer women in my education (and, sadly, after) all of the Big Bang characters existed in the 1960s and 1970s, too. And it is fun to look at the equations in the back of some shots and see from what discipline they might be. And, finally, when I bought Seasons 8 and 9 the Blu-ray copies were on sale, cheap.

Best Show on TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love The Big Bang Theory! I think the first few seasons were the best, but they still make me laugh and this is the only show I regularly watch. You will find the usual adult TV situations and topics talking and referring to relationships, usually in a humorous way. I would not recommend this for younger children and I doubt they would find it interesting. It also contains some swearing, but it is lighter than many of the shows you see on TV now. Of course you will also learn some real scientific terms if you pay attention while watching.

Great DVD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been following the Big Bang Theory since the first season and to my surprise it hasn't lost it's magic after 7 seasons of clever writing, relatable characters and funny jokes. Unlike many other TV series, you don't need to commit to this show in order to enjoy it. With short episodes, having usually independent story lines, you can always watch an episode, or even a scene, whenever you get some free time and want to have some pure fun. This is one of the best series for binge-watching on weekends or vacation days.

Watch over and over funny
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big Bang is a TV show that you can watch and laugh over and over. Me and my wife watch an episode of it nightly just before going to bed, to wind down, laugh, and forget the stresses of the day, and we have watched all seasons in order 4 times now. This latest season allows us to continue in that trend even further before repeating again. And we laugh just as hard each time we watch these episodes, no matter how many times we have seen them. If you haven't discovered The Big Bang Theory - give it a try!

Smart Comedy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a fan of Big Bang Theory since the show first aired on network television. I watched it religiously for years until I cut the cord and found it harder to keep up with it. Instead I started buying all the seasons on disc so I could watch anytime. It is so worth the purchase and each season has provided me with great laughs. The price was right so I added season 8 to my collection. I am working towards the season now as I watch every season from the beginning.

The Best Commercialized Comedy on Television
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While my tastes do often range towards the offbeat or somewhat off-kilter, "The Big Bang Theory" does what most other network comedic shows (in their often pandering and homogenized way) cannot do: make me laugh. While the show is anchored by Jim Parsons, the 'complimentary' pieces (actors/ actresses) surrounding him are better than the main players on many, many other network sitcoms. Yes, true believers... there is a reason why this is the #1 sitcom on television.
