A: I use my docked Nintendo Switch on this, however the sound does not come out of the monitor. I have to plug headphones into the switch.

A: The width of the active area is 20.53 inches.
Q: what desk mounts go with this monitor idk and don't want to have to rebuy or waste time.
A: Any VESA compatible mount supporting 100 mm mounting holes will be compatible to this monitor.
Q: Is this compatible with Xbox 1 for gaming?
A: Yes, the S2422HG monitor is compatible with Xbox 1 for gaming.
Q: Does it work well with non gaming tasks? Such as office work and web browsing?
A: Yes it works great. Very large however. If you are using another monitor with it the display can look a little weird.
Q: Can the monitor be rotated to vertically without the need to any extra mounting or tools?
A: No. It doesn't go vertical (that I'm aware of).
A: This monitor does not have built in camera.
Q: I have a 144hz laptop. If I connect it to this 165hz monitor, will I be getting 165hz or 144hz?
A: If a 144 Hz laptop is connected to a 165hz monitor, the maximum refresh rate supported is 144hz.
