LG - 20'' Class Full HD TN Monitor with AMD FreeSync 20'' Diagonal - Black

The LG 20'' Class Full HD TN Monitor with AMD FreeSync™ 20'' Diagonal - Black, Model # 20MK400H-B, IS NOT a TV. It is a computer monitor, so while you can connect a cable set-top box to it, you will need to take an extra step to handle the audio, since it does not have built-in speakers. The monitor features one HDMI input port. You can connect any modern cable set-top box directly to this port using a standard HDMI cable. The monitor supports HDCP 1.4 encryption, which means it is fully compatible with copyrighted television broadcasts and streaming video signals. Unlike a traditional TV, this monitor does not have built-in speakers. If you plug the cable box into the HDMI port, you will see a picture, but you won't hear any sound, so you will need to plug external desktop speakers, a soundbar, or a pair of headphones directly into 3.5 mm Headphone Out port on the back of the monitor. Alternatively, if your cable set-top box has its own dedicated audio output ports (like an optical digital port or RCA red/white jacks), you can route your speakers directly into the cable box itself...^Ivan.

Hello there, Jr. We understand your inquiry about the screen rotation capabilities of the 20MK400H-B monitor. This is often referred to as a pivot function, which allows the screen to rotate 90 degrees for portrait viewing. Based on the specifications for the included stand, this model does not feature the ability to rotate the screen 90 degrees. The stand only includes a Tilt adjustment, allowing the screen angle to be adjusted from -5 to 20 degrees. However, the monitor does support a standard VESA Wall Mount Size of 100 x 100 mm. If you were to use a separate, compatible VESA-mounted monitor arm or stand that offers a pivot function, you would be able to rotate the screen to a 90-degree portrait orientation. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-20-class-full-hd-tn-monitor-with-amd-freesync-20-diagonal-black/BGTKKS922X If you have any further questions about the stand, mounting options, or any of the monitor's features like AMD FreeSync™ or Black Stabilizer, please contact us on lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com, and our team will be more than happy to assist you. —Renzo
