A: I use it as a second monitor for my HP laptop when traveling. I need more screen real estate when working in graphics applications, so I use this monitor for email and menus while using the laptop monitor for the imagery (because the picture quality is better on the laptop).
Q: will this monitor work with a MacBook Air laptop?
A: After downloading drivers and messing with it for hours, I never could make it work with my Mac. Plugged right in my PC laptop, no issues at all. Also, it’s not like a normal screen to be independent, just a duplication of the lap top. Returning it, unimpressed.
Q: Could I use this monitor as a primary source to play my Xbox
A: Probably not. The xbox requires standard monitor setups. This is designed to run off USB 3 exclusively and the Xbox is not designed to run monitors out of anything but the dedicated HDMI output.
