A: It's the day after Christmas and we tried out the Bobsweep. The suctions seems good and has an option to use a UV light.. it comes with a remote control.. I also have an irobot roomba........ I'm still comparing the two, but I noticed that the bobsweep would get caught on a part of the carpet where the tile ends and the carpet begins..... it also got stuck under a part of our kitchen cabinet.. it's a little bulkier than the roomba so it doesn't completely fit underneath the kitchen cabinets. It does however go under the table and fit under some chairs, where the roomba would hit the chair leg and return.......... Should be good for carpets, for the sale price.. it's good. Also comes with a small mop head, though I haven't tried that part yet. If you're paying the full price, might be better and cheaper to go with the iRobot Roomba, and it comes with the block sensor. The Bobsweep has one, but you'll have to buy it separately
Q: Is the bObsweep pethair self-charging robot vacuum & mop loud or noisy?
A: It’s really loud and can’t be used if someone is sleeping or watching tv without disturbing someone.
A: Bob moves over hardwood floors, kitchen tile, and onto our area rug very easily.
A: It just comes with microfiber pads you can soak them in solution and attach them. It does not have a spot to actually put mopping liquid.
Q: Does it turn off when it gets stuck?
A: It will turn off and make a beeb noise for you to come find it. Any issues it has it leaves a trouble shooting code for you to reference in the manual to see what Bob needs.
Q: How long does it run before having to charge it Also how long it take to charge
A: It runs about 1 hour and 20 minutes and it takes about 2.5 hours to charge fully.
A: It will return to the base when battery is low. Or you can use the remote control
Q: Does it know enough not to fall down the stairs
A: Yes, it has sensors to detect them. when I purchased this I was worried about the stairs and I tested it. bobsweep does great
