Wonderful camera for professionals and enthusiasts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually purchased this 5D mark 3 as my second 5D Mark 3 backup! I'm a wedding and portrait photographer and there are many things about this camera that makes it great! Being a full frame camera, you're able to get super clean images in low light situations. Any working professional or enthusiast who does weddings or portraits will love this camera. www.andrewdophoto.com Pros: Dual card slots for instant backup of your images Advanced auto focus system Built quality Bright viewfinder Clean images at high ISO Cons: Camera came out in 2012 (but it still performs like a champ today! Otherwise I wouldn't of purchased a second one for my business)

Great Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera about a month ago and have been extremely happy with it. I also purchased the Canon - EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Telephoto Zoom Lens as well. The only downside to the camera is it's weight paired with the lens. Picture quality is top notch.

great camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I buy canon because of the great quality and service. 90% of the time when I call service just for info. I get friendly American voices. this camera is a not exactly a starter camera. it is for the more experienced photographer or hobbyist. great camera all around. great at the higher iso up to around 5000 the noise is tolerable. not as fast shooting for sports but will do.

Much needed upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my 5D Mk II to the Mk III and it was worth the money. I thought of maybe going with the 6D which is about about half of the price, but the advanced AF system made me go all in. Shooting dark wedding receptions made it tough on my MK II so the 61 AF points was the my main deciding factor. The sturdier build and the built in PC Sync port were also things that made me choose it over the 6D as well. The option for a silent shutter was a nice touch too.

You Will Be Very Happy About Your Purchase!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to advance to a full-frame DSLR from my first DSLR the Canon Rebel SL1 which I still love and use a great deal. I drove over to the only BB store that had this camera in stock after work in a mini-blizzard, that's how bad I wanted to make sure I had it in my hands before someone else bought it. The shots you will get from the camera are amazing, it is a little heavy but you just deal with that because it's worth it.

Q: QuestionWhat kind of lens are used for Canon 5dM3? And can i use Lens of Canon 600D for Canon 5dM3 ?
Asked by Tarun.
- A:Answer The Canon 5D Mark lll has a full-frame sensor. If you have other Canon EF lens, all of them will work with the exception of S-Series lens. I personally use the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L ll USM , the 24-105mm L lens, the EF 75-300mm f/ 1.4-5.6, and a FD 50mm 1:1.4 lens. I have excellent results with these lens

Q: QuestionWill the price on the Mark III drop significantly when the Mark IV is released?
Asked by johnd7264.
- A:Answer The Canon 5D Mark lll came out originally in 2012. The price for the body was a minimum of $3500. The Canon 5d Mark iV is already out. The %D Mark lll, body only, Is still selling from $2900 to $2600. The price has, of course dropped a little, but still holds it's value.

Q: QuestionCan you also use APS-C/&More?So I actually have 3 lens right now and I am curious if some will work? I'll give lens and specs 1st: Sigma 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 Compatible Mountings Nikon F (DX) Focus Type Micro-type ultrasonic Lens Design Superzoom Lens Type Zoom lens Maximum Aperture ƒ/3.5 Maximum Aperture Range F3.5 - F6.3 Maximum Focal Length 250 mm Maximum Format Size APS-C / DX Minimum Aperture ƒ/22 Minimum Focal Length 18 mm 2nd: Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G 3rd: and then I have a Rokinon 1:4 /24mm but it is the Nikon syle with the Automatic AE Chip for Auto Aperture/Exposure/Focus Confirmation. Because it's Nikon style from what I think is the chip won't work but I could still use it right?

- A:Answer You really want the dedicated lenses for this camera I use the Canon 16 to 35mm 85mm f1. 2 which is my main lens and very useful especially with this full frame camera An excellent Canon L Series zoom out to 400mm Use only Canon lenses built for this level Canon DSLR camera as the earlier Canon mounts will not screw Dump those lenses and get the right Canon lens
