    Should have never been released.

What a mixed bag. First for the good. Great picture and plenty bright even for an OLED. Perfect size which leads to amazing immersion. HDR, high refresh rate, and no lag. And the ability to adjust the curve to your preference or use case which is great because a lot of the other large ultrawides have too much of a curve for me. However... The bad. I'm not sure how this monitor ever got the go ahead for an official release. The curve mechanism just wasn't thought out or implemented correctly and the monitor loses its curve towards the outside edge of the screen on each side. I am on my 3rd monitor now as I returned the first 2 in the hopes I would get one that would hold the curve properly but it just doesn't. No matter how much you do or don't bend it, the outside 6 inches or so on each side of the screen begin to straighten out and lose their curve which causes that portion of the screen to become flat and bend away from you. In fact, it's almost exactly a 16:9 portion of the screen that holds the curve correctly and the extra ultrawide portion on each side are the portions that don't. I watched tons of online "reviews" on this thing and they all felt more like paid advertisements than actual reviews. In fact, it's clear they were. I kept wondering why none of them would allow the camera to focus on the edge of the monitor while it was curved but if you watch some of them closely, you can briefly see the issue I am talking about. I also contacted Corsair regarding the issue. I sent them pictures as they requested and they then told me this was within spec. If this is within spec, Corsair should be embarrassed. In the end, I would never recommend this monitor. And yet, I may have to keep it. I need a larger Ultrawide and all of the others at this size have too much of a curve, especially for using it as a production or work monitor in addition to gaming which I am doing. Those other super ultrawides just don't have enough vertical space for me to consider. Anyway, I'm now kind of stuck with a monitor that doesn't properly do the main thing it was supposed to do and there aren't any real viable alternatives for me. It's really a shame because this is an easy fix and I have no idea how Corsairs' engineers didn't figure it out. (Corsair, I could explain the fix to you in 5 minutes) So if I keep it I may end up making a partial modification myself because it's extremely annoying to use in it's current state. Beautiful picture, and perfect size. But don't buy it folks. If they move forward with this idea maybe they will get it right next time but it wasn't ready yet.

Hands down the best for gaming

If you take gaming seriously you must invest in this monitor. I already had the 34inch Alienware QD-OLED but this is just on another level. Its not as bright or crisp when it comes to normal workflow environments compared to fhe alienware but the second you turn on a game it is immersive and gorgeous. I really did not think I would notice a difference with 240hz but it did as I was more accurate and aware in the games i was playing. The ability to bend seems unnecessary but depending on what game you’re playing you may want a different picture. The ports in the front make it so convient to plug and play.

    Curved OLED 240Hz 1440p 45” Monster!

This monitor is everything I hoped it would be. I like keeping the monitor flat for work, and curved for gaming. Some complain about text clarity, but coming from a 1080p 27” monitor from 2011, the text is rendered better than previously, so I don’t mind in the least. Reading websites and documents is no issue what so ever. The 240 refresh rate is perfect for a 1440 gaming pc setup, as even with a 4090 that’s the maximum frame rate you can possibly expect at that resolution with high settings. Combining the variable curviness, the 240hz, and the oled color/black reproduction, this monitor is an absolute dream for eye candy! Only problem is the price you need to pay for the PC to drive it sufficiently. My only concern is longevity, especially with the flexible screen, but that’s what the extended warranty is for. If you see this monitor on sale, and have a PC powerful enough, buy it immediately.
