A: The VESA mount is 100x100.
A: Brand new for August 2020. I have had used a few Dell monitors, and the number seems to break down to two digits for the screen size, and two digits for the year released (but like cars, the 2021 model year is out in 2020). So this is a 27 inch screen that is part of the 2021 lineup (really, August 2020).
Q: Will this monitor work with Xbox series x and PS5?
A: I have a Series X and this monitor, it works with this monitor at 1440p 120hz.
Q: What version of HDMI is the cable that comes in the box? Is it an HDMI 2.0 cable?
A: This monitor has a HDMI 2.0 cable shipped with it.
Q: Can the LEDs on the back of the monitor be turned off while the monitor is on?
A: I believe he was referring to the lights on the rear of the monitor, not the backlight. Yes, the lights on the rear of the monitor can be turned off.
Q: Does this monitor have any blue light filtering?
A: Yes, this monitor comes with an option on the menu called as Comfort View that decreases the level of blue light emitted from the screen to make viewing more comfortable for your eyes.
Q: Will this monitor be the best option for the xbox series x?
A: I will be using it for Xbox Series X. Unfortunately the "best" monitor for Series X would include all of the bells and whistles a high-end TV would include: -HDR, equivalent of DisplayHDR1000 or better (which requires local dimming) -120Hz refresh rate -4K resolution -HDMI 2.1 port -Dolby Vision -FreeSync Premium (I'm not sure if Xbox will or can use FreeSync Premium Pro) There is no monitor on the market as of November 2020 that checks all of those boxes. This monitor will enable 120Hz refresh rate and FreeSync on Series X, that's about the best you can hope for unless you are willing to pay ~$1000+ for better HDR or wait for monitors with HDMI 2.1 support so you can run 4K at 120Hz.
A: Yes, this monitor is the right choice and this display has a maximum preset resolution of 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz via HDMI and 2560 x 1440 at 165 Hz via DP (Display Port).
