- A: AnswerDont let GE fool you into buying a new trim kit and a very expensive Profile Series. I had the same model and when it broke I went and bought a JES2051SN4SS FOR $179. The one GE told me I needed was $380 plus they said I needed a new $250 trim kit. Nope. The old trim kit worked perfectly. Its identical with all the screw holes and easy to install. Took me 15 minutes to put on the trim kit and reinstall the new microwave.

- A: AnswerHello, This is Donna with GE and I am happy to assist you. Yes, model JES2051DNBB does offer the option to adjust the sound level. This information is provided in the use and care manual on page 26. Sound Level - The beeper sound level can be adjusted. Press Beeper Volume. Choose 0–3 for mute to loud The display can be turned off also. Display On/Off : To turn the clock display on or off, press and hold 0 for about 3 seconds. The Display On/Off feature cannot be used while a cooking feature is in use. Both are great features!

Yes, it does have an interior light which will come on when the door is opened and while it is cooking. A: AnswerJust open and close the door. I found that frustrating at first, then I realized that there must be a timer from when the door was last opened, if you put something in and don't start it right away, it resets and prevents you from starting it empty...once it open and close the door again, it will start.Answered by Randy

BEST MICROWAVE EVER
I have been looking for a microwave that is big enough for my cooking demands, and I finally found it. This microwave is not only spacious but also easy to use with multiple sttings. I'm very happy with my purchase and will be buying my mother one for her kitchen as well.

Great Equipment for the money
My last GE microwave died after 10 years of use. However, GE disconnected the model so researching online I was informed that this was the replacement for the old model. So far we are very happy with the purchase.

Old Trim Kit works!
Bought this online on a Sunday and the microwave arrived at my house Tuesday early afternoon - great shipping time! It is great that the old trim kit fits.........our microwave from 2011 was a GE Profile 2.0 cu. ft microwave (model PEB2060SMSS) that was a "built in" installed with a trim kit. With trim kits being about $225 I was hoping to find another GE that would fit using the same trim kit - so I bought this model (JES2051SNSS) and it fit perfectly with the old trim kit. The website says a new trim kit was needed but it was wrong. Even the screw holes in the body of the microwave were in exactly the same place! Thank you GE for keeping the compatibility from year to year. The photo in the cabinet is the new one installed; the others are the old one. Only had it for a few days but looks good, almost the same as the old one, and it works well
