Q: Online, the estimated battery life is 9.5 hours. How accurate is this estimate?
A: Real world applications would probably get about half of that. I get about 4-5 hours of moderate use.
Q: What accessories are included with this laptop?
A: Worth mentioning that it comes with a USB C adapter so that you can connect legacy USB devices, like this: -- http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/accessories-88342--1/hp-usb-c-to-usb-3-adapter-p7z56aa-abl -- As mentioned, it also comes with a laptop sleeve, power adapter, and cleaning cloth.
Q: Does it come with the mouse in the picture?
A: It doesn't come with a mouse, but if you like it it's the HP Z5000 "Dark Ash" mouse. I don't see it available on Best Buy but you can get it directly from HP here -- http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/accessories-88342--1/hp-z5000-silver-wireless-mouse-w2q00aa-abl
A: To be a bit more exact: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 931MHz (14-17-17-40)
A: This would be an excellent laptop for traveling with it's light weight and thin profile. It would easily handle Netflix and other office-like activities, including Photoshop and mid-level video editing. As far as the gaming goes, it depends on which games you intend to play. It probably will be hit and miss with newer titles, but less-demanding games should work. As an example: I was able to get Killer Instinct to run with playable performance. To do so, I had to drop the resolution and other effects to their minimum. Not bad at all. As a tip, if you do get this laptop and are pushing it's limits for gaming, you may want to make sure and set it's power options to "Maximum Performance". That way it won't throttle it's performance to extend battery life, and instead let it perform at it's maximum. :)
A: No, the keyboard does not fold back.
Q: Can you get the spectre loaded with windows 7 instead of windows 10
A: You cannot 'get' the Spectre, or any new laptop, 'loaded' with the firmware of your choosing, unfortunately. That being said, you can install Windows 7 yourself. The ways to do this are either by purchasing Windows 7 yourself and installing it yourself or having someone else (like GeekSquad) install it for you, providing that you provide them with a copy of legitimate Windows 7. If you have an unused copy of Windows 7 lying around, you may use that. Windows 7 licenses are no longer sold, so buying a new copy is very difficult if not impossible.
Q: Does this laptop have the ability to be projected onto two displays?
A: Yes, this product can connect and display the screen on multiple displays.
