Q: Does this come with the charger, case and replacement earbuds, like it does on the Jaybird website?
A: Yeah, it comes with all that stuff. Clip, charger, 3 sizes of foam buds, 3 sizes of the silicone (or whatever the mushy material is) buds, and 3 sizes of ear fins, with a little carrying case.
A: They are a huge improvement from the originals. The over all size is smaller and the speaker housing that goes into your ear is smaller to. Way more comfortable! The sound is amazing, and you have the option to customize the EQ settings with their app! Definitely worth the upgrade in my eyes!
A: If you get bestbuy extended two year warranty for $19 then they cover it no matter what happens so long as it's not abuse or misuse.
A: The mic works really well for calls, the only noise I have experienced is with wind but you can't really stop wind noise with any mic.
Q: How well do they sit in your ear for runners?
A: Very comfortable and it won't drop when you are running.
Q: Does the remote controller bother you? It looks little big and heavy.
A: Its really thin and light weight, I like it because I can find it easier! They do have volume controls, skip forward, skip back, pause/play, answer and hang up, and you can activate Siri from the remote!
Q: How's the sound quality on these
A: Sound quality is very good, I've owned a ton of in-ear headphones and these are among the best bluetooth ones out there, along with the Jaybird Freedom's. You must however grab their app to adjust the sound, it's a must and make a huge huge difference. You don't need the app for these to work, but you'll want to use it as it makes the sound come alive. Once you mess with the EQ in the app you'll note that these have very good bass and excellent highs - well beyond what you'd think you'd get for the money. For me the fit of these aren't good as they hurt my ears, but that will depend on the person - I've had no issues with prior Jaybird or really any other soft tip in-ear headphone however.
Q: How big are these compared to the x2s?
A: The buds are smaller than the X2's, here's a good review that goes over the difference between the new X3 vs X2 https://youtu.be/J2A5V6GQ540
