Q: For my home theater I have 4 components that I'm trying to hard wire to have internet connection. My TV, receiver, blu ray and cable box. I have just 1 ethernet connection coming out of the wall. Can I use this so that they all have internet connection?

A: Yes you can. This is an unmanaged switch and will give internet access to all devices plugged into the unit. TIP: use Cat 6 cabling as Cat5e is being phased out and is no longer the standard.

Q: I am trying to connect 2 computers to this router. The lights keep blinking and the one port blinks yellow. I can only get one computer to connect to internet. Please help!

A: This is not a router, it’s an ethernet splitter. The ethernet port on the back of the device needs to be connected to a modem. Once connected, devices can be connected to the ports in the front and should be able to access the Internet depending on the strength of the modem.

Q: Can I use the LGS105 Router with my Vonage VOIP phone system?

A: Should be able to because I used it for my phone, too.
